Micah, you need to start hitting draws with the driver again, I bet if you go back and look at your in fairway percentage, it was much larger if you compare it with the fades off the tee. While playing fades, you have tendencies to turn it towards right too much & seems to get worse as the round goes on, it basically becomes slice and hence ruining your rounds. Putting the balls on the fairway should be the primary objective off the tee.

Obviously, I realize Pebble Beach is extremely difficult, but I think it kicked you in the pebbles. Honestly, I think you gave the course too much respect. I saw some nerves with your breathing. You can beat any course. Remember, the course just lays there for the beating (like a red headed step child) that you're gonna give it. If you concentrate on beating the course only, you'll wind up beating Grant, Wesley, maybe George, etc. Oh, by the way, I saw you dismantle your extremely lucky cousin for years. Tap into that confidence and remember to attack the course like a construction job. Don't be framing with a little claw hammer. Dude, we love you. No more struggle bus.

I think you and Grant Horvat share an important thing in common. You are both almost too nice to compete. But, that is a fallacy. The sensitivity is on the surface with both of you. Being nice, you both tend to avoid biting back and your skin is a bit thin. It's nice. But, it can impact your game, causing you to hold tension. It took decades for me to see the daylight, to let my confidence shine under pressure. I'm not a great golfer, yet. But, I did learn how to focus intensely on my game(s) regardless of the noise and heckling around me. It comes down to knowing you have it. You both probably know that. But, you have to feel it to own it. And it has to be protected from interference. The only way we can protect that confidence is by intensifying our focus, deep down in our core. You'll get it. I see it shine in both of you. You have it. But, like almost all of us, you let it slip from time to time. I think THAT is one of the biggest differences between Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson, and guys like you and Grant that actually have the talent and ability to play along side them. They almost never doubt they will do what they intend to do. Do it!

I get that you are a content creator, but you don't get many opportunities to play iconic courses like Pebble Beach, so you definitely want to bring your A game on those rare occasions.
