Stewart Golf: Coming soon! Спорт
As someone who grew up in Lofoten and spent most of July there I'm sad to see you didn't have better luck with the weather. Normally that would be decent weather for that early in July, but this year has had some of the best weather I've ever experienced during July.
The course is still very beautiful as it were, but having played it with a cloudless sky at 2am with the midnight sun it can definitely get a lot prettier. Even as a local it felt as close to a religious experience I've ever had playing golf.
As a Norwegian, it's really exciting to see you coming here to film. Been wanting to play Lofoten Links for years, and your video did it. 2 years and I will be going north to play it. What an incredible view. Love it!
As a fellow Norwegian I agree. Hehe
Fellow Norwegian 🇳🇴 living in the Netherlands 🇳🇱 agrees. 🤘🏻😎🤘🏻
@@Caden2a would be lovely if Pete came to Drammen. Perhaps Norways finest greens (this year) 3 times Norwegian champion in pitch n putt is incharge of the greens Espen Bergmann. What a guy. Know him peraonally.
La oss ga Pete.

I travelled to play it from London last week with my son - Pete’s video landed the day we came home….perfect timing!
We stayed in the Lodges and played 54 holes in 2 days, including a 9pm tee time. Truly one of the most amazing experiences of my life to be walking up 18 at 1am in broad daylight with my boy - the course is insanely good, every hole is super strong and a few epics, it is tough and tight, a proper test. Just a few holes, where condition is lacking, but it’s the Arctic circle and they’ve still presented the course amazingly well. Bucket list stuff for sure, we’ll be back very soon. Truly breathtaking.
Where did you fly in to ?
We flew into Evenes via Oslo
I hope you too videos, that should be a memory to preserve
Great video!
The course is usually in much better shape than it has been this year.
You did not play from the normal tee 61 on hole 16, you played from tee 55, maybe there was some restoration work there now. It`s usually a blind shot over some boulders. Great shot though!
You asked your self how it must be to live up here, I do and could say it`s actually great. We golf, we ski, we climb and we just enjoy nature.
I´m a member here and enjoy the beauty and the silence on the course as often as I can.
Viktor Hovland has been here several times with his buddies, and are now taking part in the further development of the course.
Looking forward to the next video!
Peter Finch you are the best RUclips Golf channel and no question - that was absolutely first class! What a stunning course and great play - with a 28 handicap, I'd love to play it but suspect I'd be bouncing of rocks left right and centre lol! Can't wait for the rest of the videos!
First time I played it I was 43hcp, even at that handicap it was a really fun course to play from the front tees. The rough is murder though, so bring a few more balls than you normally do :D
Great to have you visit Peter and just for reference sake according to the course slope, off the back Tees, a scratch golfer should score 74 (+3) to play to hcp. To expect to shoot a 71 a player should be at least a +3 hcp. 😊
Oh this brings back all the good memories! Im a swede and went up to lofoten to play this course! We actually traveled all the way there with a electric car and it took us about 37 hours. But oh man the trip was totaly worth it. Already planing to get back there and play this course!
Pete nerding out with the LOTR quote is priceless 😂
I played Lofoten back in 2017 with some friends, we stayed at the lodges and had a fantastic time. We played through the night and on one hole we teed off on one day and putted out the next day! An amazing experience that I hope to repeat one day.
I simply cannot explain how enjoyable your commentary is Pete. Sultry tones my friend.
Great to watch! Our family visited the Lofoten Links in Sep 2019 and walked a few holes. Unfortunately we couldn't play, but standing on the first tee was really something! The locals were telling us that it had the benefit of being a 24hr course during part of the year, but wind direction could make a 6 club difference! Astonishing place and can't wait to actually play it one day. Cheers from Australia - Dave
Dang.. I've never heard of this place, and it made it into my bucket so fast. Gorgeous. Peter, I hope some days you allow yourself to just stop and realize your life and what you're able to do. To take something you love, and have it take you such places.. and actually get paid for it.. it's absolutely bananas.
I know, its crazy
I’m 2min in and this is now top of my “I wish I could play there” list. Stunningly beautiful and the fact of a mat tee box means they must get some drastic weather changes there 👍🏼 love it! Go Pete!
The red jacket will help when Pete just wanders off to follow the amazing scenery 😋
Absolutely stunning course, Peter. Always the best golf content on RUclips, bar none.
Excellent. Best edited, filmed and narrated golf vlog on RUclips. Hands down.
You need more subscribers, Peter! What a phenomenal channel, I’ve been following you ever since you were playing golf with Rick shields.
cannot tell you how much i appreciate you taking me to places i will never go and ALWAYS making it fun ..... ive said it many times please come down to play dent island and king island and man y of our other exceptionally stunning + yet exclusive courses ill never get onto ......and get some rounds in with ron chopper (it would be comedy + golfing GOLD)
Have seen some stunning and remarkable courses across YT golf. But this absolutely takes the cake. Almost doesn’t seem real.
not even sure I saw pete in this round, I just keep looking at the landscape. Breathtaking. Been on my bucket list to go play for a few years, looks epic!

The beacons! The beacons are lit!!!!! 🔥
Epic!!!
I realize the Lab putter is preferred lately but I sincerely feel you made more putts with your previous putter or even the one I think Fryer fave you during bicycle excursion
I saw this pop up on my feed and I was instantly jealous! This a bucket list golf course for sure! Well done!
Damn Pete, I think you need someone playing against you to keep your mind in it. The way you strike the ball you should've been -3 at least!!
Hey, thanks for the entertainment to get me through my Monday blues 😁
What a magnificent golf course!! Of the 3 other (all UK) golfers on RUclips, that I watch often, yours is my favourite ( and I think you’re consistently the best golfer as well!)
What stunning scenery and a great looking course. Though tough conditions. With wind, i bet it's as hard as anywhere. I am looking forward to seeing the 24-hour challenge you're going to do. Top content from the best team on RUclips.
I would consider the conditions in this video as great, knowing what real bad weather looks like up there 😅
Brilliant..........
Been wanting to get there some day myself..................
Lofoten is absolutely stunning.....................
Saved watching this til I could enjoy fully. Well worth the wait. Gorgeous course. What an experience. Pretty good golf but that was secondary to the views. Thanks team great work 👍
I remember years commenting on all sorts of golf RUclipsrs to go there I’m so glad it’s happened!
Had this on my bucketlist ever since NLU played there. Excited for this video when I learned you guys filmed at Lofoten
It was pretty amazing
Love the scratch series. Who knew some of these great courses existed.
What a score on a difficult course-very impressive. An accomplished golfer mr finch
Out of all the youtube golf golf creators, I would rather play with Peter than any of them! Love your sense of humor on the course.
My wife hates golf but even she says Pete has a great personality when she's seen me watching his videos
Bro!!! Excellent round. It's probably some of the best golf I have seen you play.
About an hour from where my partner lives, unreal course. Walked it recently and can't wait to get the chance to play it!
The "Doose" got me! Pete's just so fun to watch. And the course is amazing!
Epic episode and what a beautiful course in a stunning location and so cool you can globe trot to play unique courses.
It would be really really cool if like your journey to the Open you could have a Pete's unique course tour and head to different countries to
play exceptionally stunning and unique courses... I'm sure a lot of your subscribers and Global golf stars you know would have lots of recommendations.
New Zealand is calling my man
😉😊
What a spectacular course. Started planning a trip for next year as soon as I saw it. 👍😍
I laughed way harder at "a Doose" than I should have lol
Same.. I may have snorted.
Your ability to express into words the romantic relationship we all have with golf is epic! ❤ a wooden affair 😂😂
Absolutely stunning. Great golf on your part considering you never played it before. Thanks for the tour
I've wanted to play Lofoten ever since EARL went to play there in his travel series. Beautiful course, wonderful place. Maybe one day 😊
I played this course using a Trackman Simulator months back, and I thought it was absolutely stunning in the virtual world. To see the course played for real…amazing. Looks like something right out of Middle Earth.. Film it again with Aragorn, Legolas and you playing a scramble, Pete.. 🎉😊
Loved this. Well done Pete and the team. Re the DOD thing, I remember that you used to be good at it, but at the same time you would clank lots of drives way right. I think your current driving (ie good off the tee and rubbish off the deck) is probably better for scoring 😂
As a Norwegian who have played there myself! It was so fun to see you play it!!
watched the Birdie marathon last night and wasn't disappointed...thanks for your awesome content mate...give us a shout if yer ever in Sydney !
Hands down best golf content. Video flows oerfect ,great editing, commentary, great golf, and courses us Americans dresm of playing
Dead Whale :) Pete's commentary is just as entertaining as his golf!
Played there in June. Absolutely stunning course. Great people. Quite magical experience playing through the night 🥴
Beautiful course. Can’t wait to play it someday myself. Good on you for that positivity 👍 Calling the rough short right of the green the fringe is very optimistic! 😂
Wow ! What an awesome place ! Definitely inspired me to travel there and experience it for myself.
I was yelling at that 7iron shot on the 13th. Well done. Beautiful course to see, even if just on the screen👊👊
😍 Looks amazing even on the small screen.
Thank you for this video Peter❤ Lofoten is on my bucket list. I am a norwegian myself but have not made the trip north yet. Great to see you review this corse. If you feel the need for another norwegian corse and that course just happens to be in my city Larvik, gimme a shout 😊❤
Another stunning and hugely entertaining video Pete. Oh and I love the Scouse accent at 12.45 👏👏😂
Wow, just plain WOW.
Peter I love your personality and your choice of courses. This course looks like it's from another planet . I was waiting for a dragon to come swooping down from the sky and grab you . Nice round .
Peter thank you for this video. This is on my bucket list now UNBELIEVEABLE!!
What a great video. That intro is just on another level - best I've ever seen on RUclips
you have to be happy with what ever you score fantastic course😊
What a place! Need to add it to the bucket list. Great video.
I haven’t played there. But I have gone up the mountain Hoven (367 m) in the back. A beautiful view! 🥰
I love how Pete has nurtured and slowly released the Tism. :) commendable!
Pete is the Best by far U.K. golf content creator 👊🏻👊🏻
By far indeed
Magical place. I'd love to play there, off forward tees of course.
Like playing golf in Narnia.
That was my first thought after playing it in the trackman simulator.
Delighted to see this one! Really looking forward to seeing it played in real life. Go Pete!
JUST WOW WHAT A AWSOME PLACE
Managed to play this course in September and saw the nortern ligjta the night before. Truly magical place
Awesome course and typical good golf Peter.
Bucket list course to play. Nice video, and well played!
It very much reminds me of when Mark Crossfield went to Iceland, very rugged, very natural, very beautiful.
Looks fantastic, well played.
cant wait for you to try some New Zealand courses
When I'm playing sim golf this course is on my short list. Great to see it on video!
Wow....what a place. Great golf pete...🎉
Number 1 on my bucket list of golf courses. Great video as always
What a fantastic course great work
Excellent content Gents, that place looks awesome.
What a fantastic looking golf course Pete WOW🏌♂️👍
What an awesome looking course !!!! Great content Peter .
As I’ve said many times and I’m glad you switched to that putter. But man your drives and putting were damn good.
What a stunning course
Pete, your boys do a heck of a job with the video and the graphics. Very enjoyable. The only thing missing there at Lofoten is a massive castle-like clubhouse.
Awesome video. Loved the views of the landscape.
@PeterFinchGolf - another great content video - looking forward to the 24-hour challenge video! I found myself screaming at you about he ball travelling less distance due to the colder weather - never up, never in Pete! 🙂
Course is out of t his world 🙏🏻👍❤️
Lofoten Links is truly a stunning golf course - I love this video 👌
Wow. Just wow 😮
What a beautiful place
More 80's synthwave in your videos please! Nice touch!
Hi Peter, looks amazing, wow! Just as a suggestion, next time in Ireland visit Connemara links in Ballyconneely Co.Galway. Many similarities, although not on Artic Circle, has the Atlantic Ocean, the seaside, the mountains behind and very raw landscape of Rocks. Played it in early days of the course in the mid 1970's. At the time, there were rocks everywhere, but less so today as grass purposefully grown over. Designed by Eddie Hackett, I know you previously played one of his courses, the Old Head Kinsale. Love your videos!
Choppy chop, haha. Really well done video. Excellent job Pete.
Where I grew up! Fantastic watch :)
Played 5 rounds there two years ago. 28 degrees, sun and hardly wind.... My most memorable 5 rounds ever. If you tend to shoot out in the rough a lot more than this, bring a lot of balls, cause this course eats them in the rough!
Also, it's actually fairly cheap to play. The cost is actually to get there. But you'll remember it the rest of your life 😎
What a dream course!
That LOTR reference was sublime 👏
Amazing to see you here. On bucket list for sure.
That course is just stunning. Oh how I would love to play a dozen rounds around that beauty.
Fabulous course and video 👍
Great video Pete. You and your team really do such a tremendous job on these videos.
Absolutely fantastic. Peter, it would be great for someone on RUclips to become an advocate for WHS. For your scratch golfer series you should really be comparing yourself to the rating, not to par. And potentially setting the Silver and Bronze levels using slope. You are playing some really hard courses and my observation is that you are better than Scratch way more than you think
