And unfortunately American Airlines kept rescheduling flights and then cancelling 15 minutes later throughout the day and then pulled all their attendants from the floor so no lone was there to help/answer questions. Absolutely no help or concern from American Airlines. They allowed flights to take off from Cali and then stranded people in Dallas, not because of weather but because they didn’t have enough employees to make up flight crews.

Also told them to get their warnings in sync. That tornado was one mile north of me! The first tornado warning was right after my surgery. I panicked bcuz I was wheelchair bound and I couldn’t get it into the bathroom or the closet! So I rolled off the bed and army crawled to the closet (thank you brother)!! It was chocked exactly as it should have been. The winds were strong enough to move it, straight line winds caught the tail just right to be able to spin it. As soon as the angle of the tail was far enough turned it stopped turning. The landing gear was broken because it was chocked and stuck in place. The plane was taken out of service and the landing gear had to be replaced. The wing didn't touch the jet bridge and was not damaged. Carry on.

This was the first time in my life I ever heard a weatherman classify an *_entire storm_* as an EF0 tornado - not because it had rotation, but because the winds were so strong. lol.

You guys do know that airplanes are MEANT to catch wind. No, it isn’t amazing that it moved the vehicle specifically designed to catch as much wind as possible for lift.
Still, a bad tornado just over exaggerated.
