Why you don't need 20 makeup brushes to do a full face of makeup. I can create a full face look using just a couple of brushes. I wanted to create this video because so many are getting duped into thinking you need a ton of makeup brushes to create a look which is completely FALSE! BTW you don't need any of the brushes I'm using.I'm simply demonstrating what I use.

Preach girlfriend preach.....no truer words have been spoken about having 150 brushes to put on your makeup!! Not being a content creator I have a lot of brushes that I have accumulated over the years but I only use about the amount you had in your hand or less. Hi Anne,
You are right! Nobody needs more than 10-15 brushes in order to create from simple to sophisticated ONE makeup look. But brushes get dirty. And some people use different eyeshadows/blushes during a week. People who use cream or liquid base makeup should wash brushes after every single use especially if they have very sensitive eyes and acne/blemish prone skin. And drying situation takes time. So in my opinion 10 brushes are not enough unless you have one blush, one eyeshadow palette or single eyeshadow and you don’t wear makeup every day. Even so I think it’s good to have each brush in double.
But is refreshing to see you recommended to not get crazy and stock trillions of brushes only because we see many beauty RUclipsrs gifted with gorgeous and very expensive brushes who make us feel like we need to buy them all.

I clean my brush before dipping into another shadow. So when I do a complete face, eyes everything look I will use a total of 5 brushes 6 if you include my brow brush and 7 on days when I use a highlighter.So 7 brushes at the most. I mean you can absolutely use as many brushes as you want. But you don't need that many brushes to create a makeup look.

Thank you Anne, you won’t believe this but last night I just cleaned out all my makeup brushes I don’t use anymore, I couldn’t throw them away Lol 😂 but I had kept my Dyson AirWrap box it came in and that’s what I’m storing all my other brushes, they were taking up a whole drawer of my makeup desk, which is now used for the brushes I use all the time, it’s almost half full of brushes Lol 😂 and now being stored away from my every day makeup. Sometimes cleaning and clearing out things you no longer use can be very freeing. I personally hate clutter myself. Happy Mother's Day ❤️❤️❤️
Brushes are a vice. I have hundreds from doing bridal but funny enough I’d always grab for the same ones every time. As I get older, I’m trying to get by doing the least makeup on myself as possible. But I’ll still buy brushes! 😂

Ha. You are the best. It’s funny. I have so many brushes. And I don’t even use them. I can’t seem to get rid of them. But I have a special container I use It’s funny. People that like some brands. Ummm they scratch. I ca t afford the nicer ones. But I have 3 from Sonia G gifted. Waiting to see Wayne’s new ones I’m sure they’ll be a lot tho. But. I do have the rephr. Oh and my BK BEAUTY ONES

You don't need 10 brushes. A good fluffy brush can do a complete eye look. A smudger brush can multi-task under your eyes and any detail work, a blush brush, powder brush. Concealer brush and if you use one a foundation brush. That's 6 total!
I think Sigma is overrated too; although, I do like their eyeshadows
