7700 is pretty decent. Also AM5 has an upgrade path. Am looking at either the 7700 or 7900 for new build.

What you mean by upgrade path ? I was planning on a build but don’t know should I go for the i5 13600k or the Ryzen 7 7700x

@@ninjasamal664 AM5 is a new platform, so there will be an 8000 series and possibly 9000 series of processors. If you got a 13600k and wanted to upgrade later, the best CPU you could get on that platform (LGA1700) is a 13900ks.

@@ninjasamal664 100%, intels 14th gen cpus got benchmarked and theyre literally not even that much of an upgrade from the 13th gen, id recommend going for am5 because the 8000 series of processors will be available to you and im 100% sure they will be monsters

@@plexonet да что вы говорите? ))В тестах процессоров загрузка карты ОБЯЗАНА БЫТЬ на экране. Иначе тест неполноценный и тогда зачем он?

​@@milaronplay2816That's the opposite, but in this video the Ryzen 7700 here is non x version vs intel's k version but the performance is very close. The x variants dominates the k variants in game and power efficiency but never in workloads.

But the R7 is significantly more thermal efficient. You can buy a cheap cooler or use the cooler the R7 comes with whereas the 13th gen Intel cores will produce more heat requiring a much more expensive design. The R7 is potentially a better value.

You can undervolt the 13600k to use it with a cheaper cooler drawing less power. It will still beat a r9 7900. And that while using DDR4.
This can go on and on. For every tricky way of making the 7700 good, intel has its own way of beating it.
The truth is the Ecores give a huge advantage to intel in rendering. Making the i5 lineup beat the r7 lineup in rendering value.
