I literally had this problem 3 months ago with my MQ Triton, when DPF light came on and I was worried thinking it was cost me $$$$ for new DPF filter but luckily when I took it my mechanic said it was the intercooler pipe thank god.

Never seen this on hot side, only cold side between intercooler and throttle butterfly. Cheers

They're very common to split on the hot side too, as per this video.
