  • Leopard geckos are very common and "easy" pet reptiles, but there are many popular errors people make while caring for these lizards. From metabolic bone disease to stuck shed to calcium sacks to parasites and improper diets and more, these issues tend to go unnoticed but can cause long-term consequences for your little dude. Stan is absolutely glorious. I have more respect and admiration for him than for any human being I know. He's a god.

I can't believe I'm being this person, but it's driving me up the wall, even though I love your videos. The word you're looking for is parasitized, not parasitic. To be parasitized is to be infected with parasites, rather than parasitic, which just describes an organism that is a parasite. I've noticed this mix up in multiple videos, and although you'll probably never see this, I just had to say it lol.

My gecko won't let me feed her only one type of insect for more than a couple of weeks, so I guess she helps me out with that lol

Cheers to me for not hearing the word "dead", thinking he wants to minimize the number of geckos on earth and only being mildly confused

I've been doing hours of research because I want mine to live through my kid graduating high school. They can, and will live up to 20. And they're incredibly sweet when socialized

I adopted this sweet guy, and he is adjusting so well! He's very curious and sweet and does a good job scooting around his tank! He's very mellow, but does enjoy the occasional stomp on his fake plants

When Stan is already black bearding at the start of the video, you know he's going to be fun to watch.
