Very pleased overall, but I disagree about Trent, He had absolutely no reasons to be pouting after a brilliant performance. The season is long and brutal, next game is going to be our first challenge and last season he was overworked and therefore injured for a long time. With a two goal lead in the 70th minute, I found it to be quite inspired, the sub. Also, we can't forget that Bradley carried us on his young shoulders last season for long stretches in our campaign, the lad deserves the minutes. As for Nunez, Harvey and especially Gakpo etc, the seasons is long and quite a few different competitions ahead so they will get a shot to prove themselves there. So far so good. Taking Jota off was also good, the boy must be protected at all cost and id rather not overplay.

In all fairness Darwin has not had much of a look in and his supply today was not great but yes Jota deserves his place. Gakpo looks fantastic. Trent needs to set an example, his a senior player was a bit disappointed in him.
