- I got a call from a friend asking if I could help and elderly man who was battling cancer after he received a letter from the city council advising him that he needed to clean up the side of his house. Since it was overgrown it had become and dumping ground for rubbish which the city council deemed a threat to public safety.

They thought it was a threat to public safety, yet did nothing about it. You did an awesome job making it look decent again.

I think these types of transformations are my favorite! Thank you for cleaning up this area. The drinkers and homeless use this area for their dump, but you cleaned it up to prevent this. Again thank you for what you do.👍

Great job, bear in mind though that with the bedding and booze bottles, it was probably a homeless person's doss spot. Booze keeps them warm at night. Till it kills them.

It never ceases to amaze me that the neighbors here let this area get into such a condition of decline and danger...even if it is not their property it IS in their OWN neighborhood...literally next door for some. Why would you rather have strangers sleeping, drinking, etc right next door (or very close by( to your own home threatening public health and safety. Hopefully able neighbor(s) will step up now to do the upkeep here.

But the Council owns these verges/nature strips, so when they become a hazard to public health and safety, they should fix the problem, and then put a caveat over the Title of the property to pay for the remediation.
If the property is such a threat then maybe the "authorities" could lend a hand cleaning it up for the community !

Looks way better, and you do something I do not see in other lawn care videos-- you use weed killer to eliminate the weeds in the cracks so they don’t come back. The song “Drinkin’ Wine Spo-Dee-0-Dee” was going through my head while I was watching this video. Just saying. Terrific job.

Is not the Council Responsible for the Sidewalk Easement ? Council's ask adjoining ratepayers to maintain them so as to reduce Council's Mowing/ Maintenance expenses.
