So hyped to be a part of the Skool course you’re starting. I tried out the app earlier, and it was super buggy. But hopefully the website works better and I can participate!

I think, what you need is conviction. To have that there's really two things you need two things.
One is Silence, so that you could hear your internal voice without distraction.
The other is Faith. Faith in what you're saying is worth to be "said," even if it's just for pure entertainment; and that is true all art in general. It is self-doubt that gets to you, after all.
But if you write with conviction, you don't need discipline because you already acting with impetus.

I was just watching a Wallace interview when this video was posted. I have certainly been procrastinating with my writing for the last month. This is because I just published my epic novel, “The Ecstasy and the Ignominy,” a project I spent 2 and a half years writing. I needed a break. I’m hoping to get back into writing today. The process will be slow at first. I’m not as passionate about the book I’m currently working on. I’m contemplating abandoning it and starting over, but I want to try and see if I can reignite some passion before I abandon it altogether. I’m lucky that I live in the country and go into the woods to write during autumn, winter, and early spring. It’s just getting cool enough now where I may risk trying it this afternoon. I hope everything goes well.

Even in killing himself, he followed through and went all the way. Before that, he wrote gigantic books. I'm not condoning his suicide, but suicide doesn't equal a lack of discipline.
