Quintianus at that point expected her to give in to his demands in exchange for her freedom, but she didn’t. With his power as governor of his district, he sent her off to be publicly tortured. She had her breasts ripped off her body with an oddly specific tool called “the breast ripper,” and was also whipped and burned with torches. She was supposed to be burned at the stake, but because of an earthquake, it never happened. Saint Peter came along to tend to Agatha’s wounds afterwards, but she soon died in her cell shortly after.

Sainthood is also known as "that person reached heaven", as simple as that. The thing is that the "final judgement" of one's life with God is so much intimate and personal that it's actually hard to verify if someone went to heaven or not just by publicly/socially knowing that person and calling it a good one in the matter (think about priests that went to assist poor people but in private he was a sexual predator that never got caught). This is the reason why the catholic church has that many steps and tests to verify if someone really ended up in heaven or was just a good person to the public

The Catholic church and rule 34 are about to do battle with each other
Sainthood is also known as "that person reached heaven", as simple as that.
I absolutely love your videos. Its something I look forward to everyday.
This is a certified atrioc classic
man, I've been binge watching this channel the last few days and I'm in love. my new favorite channel by far
Saint Barbara being the patron saint of Rocket Strategic Forces is paradoxically logical as she traditionally is the patron saint of cannoneers and artillery.
War much 😁😄😄
*I love this channel!*
1:57 Fun Fact about St. Anthony of Padua:
In the more Roman Catholic Parts of Asia (especially the Philippines), Most People Pray to him in case they lost something, even a spare dime or a car key.
Im actually afraid that in some part of the internet, carlos might have sent some really scathing remarks to someone like: "Thou shall sucketh thy loin of mine whom greateth length than thou"
Two hochelaga videos back to back?!? YES
Seriously though, congrats on graduating and thanks for continuing to make videos for us
Isador is the patron of Wikipedia and other similar websites and carlos is the patron of the entire internet. Agreeable?
Edit: maybe isador can be the patron of knowledge compilation in general
As a Catholic, I see sainthood as “The Catholicism Hall of Fame.”
That’s my take at least. I’m not sure how many other Catholics would agree with me on that… 😅
On a side note, I had never even heard of Carlo before watching this video but he sounds really cool. It hit me hard when you said that he passed away.
This is why I personally defend sainthood. It puts a spotlight on Catholics that might deserve recognition but not have gotten it during their lifetime.
“Spotlighting people who deserve more recognition” is also why I love this channel!
"Saint Drogo, who is the patron saint of ugly people and coffee"
_could this man be one of my people?_
11 minutes that felt like 3. Great job!
Guess Saint Sebastian was busy in 2020.
I thought we would have to wait a few months for another vid. So happy you're back!
On the day of the St. Charbel feast, patron of Lebanon, very nice.
St Charbel is an amazing saint. St Charbel, pray for Lebanon.
Really cool!!!! I think this has been done tastefully, with so many factoids : )
I pray to Carlo Acutis to provide me his knowledge of HTML so that I may pass my HTML exam with flying colors.

"Saint Vitus - Patron saint of oversleeping"
Now I can say that I'm not lazy. I'm just a devotee of Saint Vitus.
Can't get over how high quality your videos are
St Isidore of Seville is also the patron saint of us, historians 😄
I was lost in the mountains without internet connection, but I prayed to Carlos and - hallelujah - my phone miraculously picked up WiFi.
Canonize him, Mr Pope.
