Its a shame that games like these just sometimes go unnoticed by so many people when the developers behinds these games put countless hours and passion into their games and projects. I bet this game will be pretty good once its fully completed.
hey, the red mantis! I remember those... Also, on the Gilted Mantoid, it looks to me as though the compound eye on the top of its head is actually recessed, attached to the body above the neck - which could be interesting as well, having its compound eye stationary while the head, smaller, is able to move around to focus on things more specifically. I'm also SUPER excited to see the Rachel Clone realized. That is an awesome idea and the concepts look SO cool. Big hype! For the Amniotic Pools, I think it might be a really neat idea to do the character movement within that kind of environment almost like noclipping, within that set area. just being able to move freely in all axes, without drifting... I don't think I've seen any FPS games explore that? Maybe I'm uncultured though, haha. It just seems like it would fit for traversing an amniotic gel kind of solution. Sorry for the essay, just really excited to see how the project is coming along! Keeping an eye and ear out for any and all updates!
Thanks for the feedback! And yes definitely want to implement a more realistic swimming function for the player if the amniotic pools get added. My current focus is the black widow appendage puzzles and the arachnid lab section 🕸️
Ngl Idk how this dev log appeared in my feed but im glad it did because the project looks very interesting!
