This is one of the best piano pieces ever made in my opinion. This is my piano cover of "Comptine d'un autre été - Large Version" from the Amelie Soundtrack written by Yann Tiersen. The French movie Amelie was released in 2001 and let us get an insight in Amelie Poulain´s life.

Als mir dieses lied, vor ca 2 jahren zum erstenmal, von einem ganz lieben Bekannten vorgespielt wurde, liebe ich diese Musik, auf dem klavier klingt es am schönsten Danke an F.A. Nun versuche ich es auch als quereinsteigerin in der Musik, aber wie heisst es so schön, der Weg ist das Ziel und das Gehirn hat was zu tun mit den synapsen😂

Do you know how I can learn the large version? i know already the basic. (:
I wanna learn the second part but it seems really hard,how much time did it take to learn?
It took a couple of weeks for me to learn the second part. But there is not really a time frame, because we all learn in different speed and in different ways. I prefer to practice a small amount of time every day instead of several hours once a week. Sometimes it is good to take a brake and come back to the piece when you feel really motivated. That works for me. Good luck!

I am stuck on the part at 1:48, I can play left and right hand perfectly, but just can’t combine them, do you have have any tips or tricks ?

Just do it again again and again, especially the right hand, you'll eventually make it right, that's how i did
I had the same problem , my tip would be to play very very slowly until it’s correct , repeat until the rhythm gets in ur hands then gradually speed up. You can even get the rhythm by tapping on you laps, both right both right both etc
JusticeAB_ the problem is, i can play the whole song perfectly, I am also able to play the part with the right and left hand, I just can’t combined them...
Hi there! Thank you so much! It is definitely not easy to play one rhythm in the left hand and another in the right. It is a hard piece to learn. The brain gets confused trying to do different things in both hands at the same time. Tell me about it, I played this song wrong so many times before I got it! The best tip I can give you that works for me is to use your muscle memory. "When a movement is repeated over time, a long-term muscle memory is created for that task, eventually allowing it to be performed without conscious effort". So practice practice practice and you will get there! Best of luck to you my friend!
When you play a note in the left hand, you play 2 noted on the right hand. Try practising it slowly and you'll get it eventually :)

I play this piece often, what a wonderful sound from your piano. I feel the pace is changing too much distracting the harmony a bit though....
