In a couple of weeks time I hope to recite these few lines that were sung at our wedding in 1965 when I scatter my dear wife’s ashes in our beloved Scotland. And also the lines of somewhere there’s a place for us, somewhere a place for us… think of me in late April.
this rendition delivers incredible emotion, tears, sobs, eminating from awe for what is beauiful, glorious and leaves me with gratitude for my gifts of hearing, sight & ability to connect to deep spontaneous feelings as a human being. i appreciate you, nathan, miss hurtado, musicians❤️
Yes. And there are several times where a singers hands are in one position, and after the cut their hands are in a different position. So definitely different takes edited together but still brilliant.
i know only two facts about these two "known" singers. 1 - They sing "beautifully." 2 - They have loving hearts. "Thank you God for people like this. Amen." "Thank you God for all these children, may you keep them away from the devil. Amen." Thank you God for the man leading these children. Amen."
I always loved the original Broadway version of this song. This version is excellent; however, the tempo is bit too slow, Ms. Hurtado Lee is too "operatic," and Mr. Pacheco's voice is bit too overriding. The orchestra was phenomenal--it's hard to believe they're in high school, and the technical quality is superb.
If you were to look away you would never guess this was a youth orchestra wonderful ❤
Hard to believe these are high school kids. So beautiful!
Kudos to the orchestra ! Very professional

I wish you lots of strength. It will be difficult and beautiful at the same time.
Something about this piece just hits the spot for me. Maybe my favorite

On a side note, I couldn't help notice the continuity faux pas. On some cuts the black pop filter is missing.

At 1:30 no pop filters. At 1:32 filters instantly appear. @ 1:50 the pop filters disappear again. And again at 3:27...WTF?
It’s typical to shoot multiple takes and edit together.
Calm down, it's a multi shoot. 1 camera man, 1 or 2 cameras at a time.
Have you noticed that the private high schools are better than the government high schools? They are almost as good as homeschooling! Great job!

Wonderful voices,
Wonderful instrumentation,
About 20% too slow.
