The cameraman must be credited for the choice of location of the shots. Quite artistic and although modern it brings back old memories of the majestic engines huffing and puffing at the junctions while we enjoyed our thalis. Nice video!
Kim Westby i think u must mean the end on Generation cars (EOG) which is used for generating electricity in the coaches, since these coaches are not self generating. The EOGs run on diesel
Actually, I believe those are baggage/mail cars. Notice that this is not the only train set with those cars, though usually only at the front of the train.

They are luggage cum end on generation. They are present with all trains running on LHB and also some other NON LHB Non self generation trains

Its both. Power generators and also a small section of that coach for luggage. They load anything from parcels to bikes I think.
It would have been really nice to have the train and the station name along with. nevertheless thanks a lot for sharing this wonderful video.
