He said " The driver is only human and mistakes happen" I replied "She has ONE JOB! to gaurentee our children get to school safely. She failed and there's no excuse for it" the reason for all the counting and checking boarding passes is for the saftey and security of the passengers. No matter how "Stressed they are. There's no excuse for failing to do their job. I'm retired and took a job at a theme park. Our first priority is safety. We're also expected to interact with guests ... Literally thousands of people, parades and activities. I've been chatting and schmoozing with guests and they notice that my eyes were everywhere and some have commented "you don't miss anything do you?" No I don't! This doesn't mean what happened to your daughter is excusable. There should have been additional safety layers in place to prevent this from happening.
