  • If you ever had a problem with a cake that is too delicate but tastes delicious, this tutorial might help you troubleshoot how to fix the issue.
    I have been baking cakes for over 25 years and for the first time I had a recipe that was way too delicate when warm so I had to figure out how to work with it. I had to change the way I typically work with my cakes just to be able to use the recipe. Check this tutorial so you can see how I dealt with the issues I encountered with this cake. Baking has always a learning cake and sometimes giving up on a good recipe is not an option.

      I have made many recipes that have almond and this one in particular has been the only one to give me trouble.

      I haven't posted that one yet. I have posted a white vanilla cake. I need to work on that tutorial.

    This is very sound advice. Another reason why recipe might not work is every oven is different and even every room is different. These things can cause issues with recipes.

      That is hard for me to say without looking at the recipe and the method you use to make it. Do all recipes turn out like that with you or just one recipe?

    I use parchment with all my cakes

    • @EdnaDelacruz
      @EdnaDelacruz  4 года назад

      I only use it when I know the cake requires it. My cakes usually don't stick to the pans and I rather avoid the extra time and cost when possible.

      @@playaplayaplaya That's not a bad price! I just prefer to avoid doing it unless I need it. Call it my lazy moment.! lol
