👍 I think you frightened him off by moving the creaky gate towards him before he went fully through it. Maybe if you pulled it towards you and held it closed, so he has more space to move forward, he might be willing to back up for the last part of the process 😉

it's almost a singing beach! we have one like that on the west coast of Vancouver Island, but with bigger cobbles down below the beach level which looks rather like this beach, and VERY active waves - when you walk out onto the the cobble, the sound of the water receding through the hollows of the big cobbles below is so clearly far, far, far [very far] below you that some people get vertigo as if they're balancing on some high cliff, just from the sound. (I did, heh, so bizarre) Really neat.

Aw! Jamie! The amount of times ive slipped over is too many to count! I remember when i first went ice skating! There i was getting the hang of it and going faster! I suddenly realised that i couldn't stop!! So i skidded sideways to stop myself! It was too late i smashed into the wall! There i was flatfaced on the ice! and two girls came up to me! I thought they wanted to know if i was ok! Then one of them said " Can you do that again! That was so funny!!" So i picked myself up and said! " yeah I'll see what I can do!!" 😂 So out of respect when you slipped! I tried so hard not to laugh!!

Sherpa have 4 paw drive and low center of gravity so he won't slip. And there seems to be less space in the gate on the "out" side than on the inside.

Watching on August 8, 2024, 12.09 pm, remembering Sherpa, and supporting Jamie. What a beautiful place (and slippery, evidently). I really thought Batdog was going to emerge from that cave. That gate was a bit of a puzzle..I hope Sherpa got to try a bit of haggis! So many beautiful pictures of Sherpy. Rest In Peace sweet Sherpa- watch over Jamie until you two are reunited at the Rainbow Bridge. 🌈🌈🌈
