It's a very precise input. You need to input as fast as possible after the dash, and then also let go as soon as possible, and input j.H... One tip I can give is that you don't need to time the FD press, you only need to time the release. If you hold FD before the dash is over it will come out as soon as the dash is complete. Other than that, practice makes perfect. Good luck!!

Didnt even know you could fd the dash dont even remember if you could in rev 2 but i do know this made my millia 80 percent more effective already didnt lose a game with her last night and havent played her in weeks cause ive been learning faust. Thank you so much i know im beating my cousins ass now! Or at least putting up a fight lol

Quick tip: I noticed that you would press forwards with the dash button to iad. You can let your stick go back to neutral and press the dash button and it will still iad

It does! FD always makes you fall faster.
It can be used to punish or reduce frame advantage on certain moves when you block them in the air.
@@bananya That's great to hear. With how incredibly hard IB is in this game, FD should be a good replacement for faster air recovery.

If you looked closely you'd notice I do this in the video already.
Quick tip: to FD you have to hold a direction, not only two attack buttons.
@@bananya ah I was looking earlier on in the video for the iad part, and for me it’s easier to reset to neutral and then do a direction for fd
