The lyric is quite poetic. It is about seizing the moment and not taking everything for granted. Things can come to you when least expecting.
I don't understand anything, but sometimes there is no need to.... amazing, wonderful, just love his songs:)

I have listened to this song and the entire album so many times, and I just love this track, but with this amazing live performance it is the first time I am suddenly reminded of more than Bon Iver, which, I guess, is always the most obvious comparison - if one needs to be made... But that opening moment brings back such beautiful memories of Jeff Buckley's wonderful talent.
He must have listened to Jeff Buckley, right? If not, it's crazy how similar they sound.

This sounds a lot like a song or theme by The Tallest Man on Earth, but I can't bring to mind which.
Yeah! Thought so as well, it's a bit like "Love is all" by The Tallest Man on Earth to me, especially the hammer on on one of the chords. Still love this the song though :)
He mentioned once in an interview that TTMOE is his "guitaridol"
In this song he uses chordshapes that TTMOE uses a lot, that G with hammer ons on third and fifth string.
