Like others have said, he’s far to laggy to pay attention to, so just listen. His second phase really needs fixing. He constantly freezes during attacks so you have to try learning what each attacks sound is
I'm an experient souls player, with platinum trophy on every souls game out there. I can even kill the last bosses on ER without getting hit ( i helped a ton of ppl getting through it). Its funny how this game hand my ass to me on a plate so many times... i got to get good. LOL.
So I looked up the boss modifiers on the Fextra page cause I'm just curious about those effects nowadays. With Vicious AND Spiteful, you might as well strip down naked after you get the boss to less than half HP, cause I've been on the receiving end of Apocalypse difficulty Vicious before, and that alone was enough to one-shot me with any armor less than Leto's full set + Engineer tier 10 trait. Spiteful gives him MORE damage the lower his health is, so the combo will kill you no matter what when the boss's health gets low.
Tbh it's infinitely better than hearty thick skin on apocalypse. Like doubles the amount of time spent in the fight meaning you have double the time to screw up and need to pick up twice the ammo drops
@@jaredcollins2049I was wondering how he was shredding through this bosses hp on Apocalypse difficulty because he did 2K with Merciless mod and it chunked him while I killed my Annihilation on Apoc with the AK 47 and hot shot. He had boss to half hp in a min of video time! My Annihilation had Hearty and Thick Skin so I see why it took so long now.
Didn't enjoy this fight at all. It's a visual mess - but worse waa when it gave me XP, then took it away again when i skipped the credits. Love the game, but zero motivation to do this fight again.
Its easy to handle that attack just spam ■ button (on PS5) and most of the time he’ll follow up with his back hand slash to your left just dodge towards it
Anecdotal evidence doesn't make it true. I have 65 hrs on PC and have seen mulitple bugs. Enemies getting stuck in walls etc. Great game but it has bugs on PC too
Took me almost 6 hours to beat him just focus on dodging and learn his patterns and thanks to the Thaen fruit & black cat band for giving me extra lives 😅

Yeah xbox series s version is just a mess constantly crashing and the final boss the textures look like ass😂😂 dont even load correctly and beat the boss on veteran and nightmare havent recieve anything and shop doesn't refresh
I wish i could play .xbox still didn't get anything. Smh i haven't been able to play my game in a week in a half. Got the boss glitch and the negative trait points. So i cant even change archetypes. Paying $70 for a broken product it crazy smh
On PS5 I play through the game until this boss before the patch one day and after updated the game still bugged out I can’t get the rewards for beating the game on Apocalypse cuz my game counts the flag as 1/5 so I need to reroll the campaign to get the other 4/5 to get my rewards that’s kinda suck!! 😢
Still probably the bast game to come out in a while. Also, a few glitches here and there that you know are getting patched isn't that bad tbh. I mean I guess I've been lucky on XBox, haven't had any glitches, errors, or crashes in 200 hours of game play, and my Apoc unlocks all came through as did my HC ones. Sorry you are having a rough time there bud, but should be fixed real soon.
In case people didn’t know, updates in consoles are not free to the developers, they have to pay Microsoft/Sony/Nintendo for every update to the game. This is why a lot of games discontinue service to a console port while the PC still receives updates and dlc.
They really need to increase the difficulty of this boss. One of the easier late game bosses to beat. Seriously, they give you like 2-3 seconds to set up your dodge for his attacks. As long as can clear the orbs, he really has nothing.

If final boss has phase 3 Sticks in middle of map 2x HP 2x ultra blade 2x red balls needs to clean Another two hands with that Huge AOE attack Random Glitch switches his attack

I’m getting through the first phase without issues. The second phase is too much for me visually
Just listen to his sound n don't worry about what you see visually and dodge by sound only
Turn the music off and just focus on the sounds

Yeah I’m learning this the hard way lol my nightmare final boss had hearty and my apoc has vicious/spiteful and I’m getting my cheeks clapped😭

You make it look easy! I always find the hardest move to dodge is the one he summon roots to grap you.
