Hi there. I've just purchased this bike and have gone through all the settings but I'm unable to change the speed setting from 25kmh. Pressing the plus and minus buttons when the 25kmh is flashing just doesn't change either higher or lower. Would love to know how you've changed it. Many thanks.
Thanks! I've looked at tons of videos which show whilst in the LS mode that they are able to change the figures using the plus and minus buttons. I can get into this function but the plus and minus buttons do not change or move the number from 25kmh. I was wondering if anybody else may have had this same situation but has been able to solve it. Love the bike , as the seat is super comfy with suspension seat post . Could easily dawdle just under 15mph and let the bike do most of the work but I prefer to ride . So it's such a contrast when you go over 15mph and it becomes hard work. Brought from Best buys for the UK so I'm presuming it's for legality reasons. Help ! Cheers

Set your desired speed limit value. After setting the value, long press the "i" button to save and exit. Done 👉How to Disable the Throttle? Turn on the bike's power and wait for the instrument panel to light up. Twist the throttle all the way to the end. While holding the throttle in that position, gently squeeze the brake lever on the handlebar. Keep the brake lever squeezed and wait for the instrument panel to show the error code "04". Continue to hold the brake lever and throttle for at least 10 seconds. Release the brake lever and the throttle. Done 👉How to Enable the Throttle? Turn on the power of your bike and wait for the instrument panel to light up. Twist the throttle all the way to the end. While holding the throttle in that position, gently squeeze the brake lever on the handlebar. Keep the brake lever squeezed and wait for the instrument panel to show the error code "05". Continue to hold the brake lever and throttle for at least 10 seconds. Release the brake lever and the throttle. Done
Thanks mate. That way didn't work for me but I contacted Engwe uk and they have solved it for me. Turn on the power Press and hold the plus and minus buttons for 3 seconds to change the display Then press and hold the plus button for 15 seconds until display changes and your good to go. I now can access 22mph in mode 5 and 18mph in mode 4 and have full throttle usage. Triffick bike !!
I have bought one of these, but I had to put on my old racing saddle as with an inside leg of 29 inches, my feet don't reach the ground which has caused me to fall off a couple of times. It would be the perfect bike if I sould get the seat a bit lower. Great review btw.
Nice looking bike. We need to get something foldable for the van with basket capacity for a little shopping. This one looks like it could be just the ticket !
It needs a bike bag to take it on a bus . That's if its not to heavy to lug up the steps of it. Guess without the battery installed it might be easier .

Apparently you need a good warranty with these electric bikes. Batteries don’t like getting wet and very expensive to replace.
