    I’m in the process of loading my fonts onto Embrillance too. Your video has been very helpful. I’m a visual learner. Thank you for sharing your knowledge. I have my fabric cut and ready for Spring Showers. Can’t wait to get started.

    Love how you have the fonts save in Word. It really shows more information. I have Word but haven't used it for years. Would you show a video on more information on how to do this?

      On how to use Microsoft Word? Oh, I'm not an expert by any means, but I can add it to my list of requests :)

      I also have a lot of fonts and would really like a video on how to set up word like you did.

    In this video you talk about pinning....when do you pin or is it everytime? Is that just using pins to stabilize the fabric in the hoop? Does it help enough to take the time to pin?

      Hi Priscilla, yes, I'm a big believer in pinning clothing for sure. The video you commented on was for adding designs and wording to a shirt. If you watch this video: ruclips.net/video/6cmFse0skGs/видео.html it goes over all my techniques for embroidering on clothing in detail, including what products I feel are best for embroidering on clothing and why and I show the pinning process and why. I hope this helps!

    I have embrilliance on my desk top computer and my lap top. And thumbnailer on both. I put all my embroidery downloads on a drive.

      Very good. I love that we can have it on multiple computers so it's always ready for us. I keep all my embroidery files on my hard drive and also on a backup drive just in case.

    You can clear your desk top by making one folder titled all embroidery files. Then put all those folder on your desk top in that file. I keep all fonts under font file but name them with who they are from.

    • @CristinCreates
      @CristinCreates  2 года назад

      I know, I know. I have a folder in my documents that is titled embroidery designs to organize and there are a ton in there, but these are just fonts and will only take a few minutes to organize once I have a few minutes, so I'm keeping them there to make it a priority, but yes, I should certainly do that. I'm not a messy person at all, I promise!

    Would you be willing to do a tutorial on how you do this in Word. Or can I email you to get help with this. I love this technique 😍

      Hi Crafty Season, it's on my list to try to do a tutorial on using Word to organize fonts and using Excel to organize embroidery designs. There hasn't been much time in between projects and honestly I'm afraid of the amount of questions that will come asking me how to use Microsoft Word and Excel! But it is on my list :) Thanks for your patience. There's never enough hours in the day!

    I'm trying to load my designs from JUJU into my Embrilliance. I can open one at a time, but I can't open a whole library of fonts to put in a phrase. I can do it with Embrilliance Fonts, but they are not stitching out right. I'm not sure if it's my machine (Husqvarna Topaz) or something I'm missing that I haven't done. All my designs that I have downloaded are in my Documents Folder under Embroidery Patterns. There are several steps to get to my patterns, would that be an issue? Any help would be appreciated! I worked with 4D Design Studio before & had no problems at all. For some reason, I'm really struggling with this software.

      Hi Deb, I'm not sure I'm understanding correctly, so let me know if this doesn't answer your question. To my understanding, you have to unzip each font and you have to drag each font to your workspace in Embrilliance. You're mentioning that you have them in several steps in your document folder, but they need to be loaded to Embrilliance, not in other folders. At least that is for BX fonts. You can still keep them in your documents folder, that's what I do too, but they have to be loaded to your Embrilliance workspace for them to do the amazing things that Embrilliance does with BX fonts. If they aren't BX fonts, they will work regularly and yes, you'd have to bring each one in as you want to use it. I believe this video tutorial shows how to utilize your fonts and how to load them: ruclips.net/video/T6dtDY47QoI/видео.html I'm sure it's also on the shirt video here: ruclips.net/video/8B3yyCybdqs/видео.html Let me know if I misunderstood your question or if this is helpful.

    i never was successful with pinning. I don't know how you do it without poking yourself or tearing the stabilizer. Of course, it was my very first one. It came out pretty descent. I am going to attempt another shirt.

    You need AlphaTricks to change the name of your fonts.

    What are BX fonts?

    • @CristinCreates
      @CristinCreates  Год назад

      BX is a format just like PES or other formats, but BX works incredibly with Embrilliance Essentials. You don't have to import each letter and you can arch it and size it very easily with Embrilliance Essentials. You can use other formats with Embrilliance also, but once you try BX, you'll not want to go back. Most places that sell fonts also have the BX format available. In fact, you can go back to places you've already purchased and redownload and see if a BX format was included. I hope this helps.
