For the ones watching this video, notice how the fans on the rx 5600 xt used here are working at about 35%, which raises temperatures of the card to 70°C and doesn't allow it to reach it's full boost clock... So it's basically performing worse than it should in this benchmark.
@Aurelius Still, the fan is running at a measly 35% when the core's temperature is 70ºC. I don't blame him, afterburner (even when it's not forcing a fan surve) messes with Adrenaline's fan curve setting it at about 30%.
So, simply cranking that a little bit, maybe 50-60% would yield nice temperatures for that card and slightly better clock speeds.

Absolutely agree. I have the Red Devil version, that and the sapphire pulse are leaps better than the XFX II.
I got a 5600xt in september 2020/ Can say I'm not unhappy with my purchase. Great card for 1080p 144hz and 1440p 60. However, I now have a 1440p 165hz monitor, so i'll be upgrading this card to either an rx 6800/xt or an rtx 3080.
i have no problems with 5600xt using 240hz monitor. runs every game you need to run at 240fps

I would wait and check the availability of Rtx 2060 day by day .The price between them also matters though. Rtx 2060 is 4% more expensive than 5600xt in here.

damn i have a RTX 2060 but im getin like 40 max fps on some of these games cause of my stupid 2011 cpu = i5-3330.. bottlebeck calculator says my RTX 2060 have a 75% bottleneck cause of it, im getin a ryzen 5 3600 soon, no money for new cpu's will go for those when i get a job

Man, I have the same cpu. Sadly the cpu will bottleneck even RTX 2070 or RX 5700xt. If I were you I'd save up more to upgrade the cpu and gpu next year. Your GPU is enough for this year' tittles. Real next gen games will drop next year I believe.

980 is great.. but its based on old architecture and will struggle on new games.. nvidia dont care about their old gpu unlike amd.
Better get something like gtx 1650 super or a rx 580 8gb.

The XFX II is literally the worst version of the 5600xt. Red Devil and Sapphire Pulse variants are ALOT better in performance then the XFX just an FYI.

Models affect fps by at most, 5 average, he isnt overclocking, so essentially sapphire has good cooling which doesn't fully come into play against an xfx, but yes an xfx is p shit
@Alberto Bg Temps r similar, it may seem like the one with an extra fan is better, but there's more to it, just get the best value one, depends on price. Plus I wouldn't necessarily get a 5600xt at all rn cus everything oos or price increased, nvidia may release a normal 3069 bc they stated the 3060ti wa step 1st of the "3060 family" hinting at other cheaper variants coming which might bury the 5600xt

@CyanSirius i bought one on sale and i gotta say, even with 5 coolers on the case it still gets like 82 degrees (celsius) when I'm playing warzone. It gets hot but get the job done. Great card, not really great temps

Yes
It’s not ideal. More of an “entry level” 1440p card. Works well in some titles and not in others. Same as the Nvidia cards in this price range.

your cards run too hot, the other models would have better cooling and thus better clocks( even though both run nice at stock). i would not be comfortable in 80c gaming plus fan noise.
well made comparison tho, invidia has better game development for now, but since all games will run a console version amd should get back alot

RTX 2060 is better than RX 5600 XT in every game? WTF man? Like mine is working better than this! Maybe because it's XFX which is 15% slower compared to my TUF.
In some games is a little bit better in others not. Overall based on thousand user benchmarks the RTX 2060 has an 8% advantage. Also if you watched the video you can see that RTX 2060 is not better than RX 5600 XT in every tested game but you probably didn't.

AMD sets the voltage high instead of the ideal. They claim this is because some cards may
degrade years later and have problems. A smarter move would be to handle the QA calls as/if they occur instead. As a result most of their current and past cards run faster, cooler and use less power (quieter) with just UV mainly due to avoiding throttling. This can be done with AMD (one click), 3rd party SW or in the BIOS. In fact UV and OC can be combined. Don't be confused by ultra UV fans that cut the voltage way down at the cost of lower performance.
