    The RX 6600 has an advantage in the RDNA2 architecture and higher GPU clockspeed, which mostly level out that the RX 5600 XT has more raw muscle, with more cores(SUs) and higher bus bandwidth.
    Both are about the same level in real gaming performance. Anyone going from 5600 XT to a 6600 is a sidestep, not an upgrade. No less that 6700 XT will make sense, going from a 5600 XT. Value Wise, the 5600 XT can be bought second hand for GTX 1070 money.. or even less! And the 5600 XT is at GTX 1080 performance level. Newer GPU, lower power and price, thats a Win Win). Just 2 GB VRAM need to be sacrificed if going with 5600 XT. But at 1080P res, it is still plenty for nice visual settings.

    Since i move from gtx 1050, i choose rx 6600 instead used 5600xt
    Power so efficient, currently play game under 60w if cap 30fps (console like)
    But im confused why newer generation card not have a leap different between previous generation

    • @ItsMeIvan-
      @ItsMeIvan-  11 месяцев назад +1

      Newer generation has leap in power efficiency if Nvidia and AMD named and priced their GPUs correctly.
      The 4060 is actually using a 50 class GPU die (AD107) , although it's being pushed more making it less efficient to make them justify calling it a 4060.
      Maybe if it was used as a 50 class card for example, instead of being called 4060, it was rightfully called a 4050 and not pushed as hard, we might have a sub 75W card that performs close to a RX 6600.

    Would you recommend me to save up for RX 5700 8 GB instead? it's only 20$ more expensive than RX 5600xt in my country, both are used. I believe that 6gb vram won't cut in the next few years so RX 5700 8 GB might be a better value.

    • @ItsMeIvan-
      @ItsMeIvan-  Год назад +1

      The Extra $20 is totally worth it for the RX 5700. with 2 more GB of VRAM and also better power, you can push it more than the RX 5600XT. There are also some mods where you can flash the RX 5700XT bios to get some extra performance, but be careful. Take a look at tutorials and make sure you know what you're doing. But even at stock, the 5700 is a really good card. Cheers!
