Was there something wrong on the board? I’ve got 2 identical showers that both stopped making hot water on the same day. Tested everything and it was fine. I took the board out to bring it to get tested today. We shall see what they say.

if everything else tests good then its likely the board , this one was a board failure.

@@cagmito76 thanks for the reply. The electronics guy said the board looked fine. But I’m still suspicious, no new boards in stock at the moment so I ordered a used one to see if that works.

Hi, thank you for this. I have the exact same model, which has been failing to start and trips out before I get any water. I just followed this video and it seems no continuity on the solenoid Do you know if I can just pull out and change the black solenoid valve, or is it the whole plastic assembly surrounding it? I really can't get the valve to pull away from the clear plastic part, so wanted to check it is indeed supposed to pull away from the plastic! :) Thanks

@@cagmito76 Yep, just had a scary moment, almost had the valve off but then something must have came loose and had water everywhere for a minute until I turned the water off. Does this now mean I need to replace the full plastic assembly? I cant see anything is different, but I am assuming a part inside or glue has come loose within the fitting...? any ideas much appreciated. Thank you.

@@elaayhan3132 Yeah sorry should of warned you to turn off water , it sound like the stem cracked that holds the valve that magnetically controlled by solenoid . Unless you have pulled out the connections to the pressure switch or element it will need replacing.

Mine powers on, but only starts to work when you "strategically" thump the casing. Sometimes only one thump is required but often 2 or 3. Been like this for 2 years now - but today following about 30 thumps of varying strength, no joy :'( - the cold rinse function still works, but she don't want to play on either of the 2 hot water settings :'(

Odd one that could be a number of issues from board to tco would like to know when you find out please.

All well and good taking a cover off but unless you can see exactly where you are putting the test leads it isn't much help. Sorry just needed to say.

I have other videos showing testing of all parts individually.
