@@fuzzyotterpaws4395 I agree, I used to do a Turn 4 Hazmat/Grandmaster and then use Anni to send him over as a Negative 1. This just ruins that.

The fact that this means he no long affects all the Avenger cards is kind of dumb.
@RoadWulf I honestly was hoping for a on reveal version of Blue Marvel. Much like the comics, he would be the overlooked Avenger that came in clutch late in the fight. (Low cost card, probably still a three witg on reveal +1 power to all cards revealed.)

Why don’t they make him like US agent? But for your side, he gives cards that cost 1,2,3 plus 3 (or plus 2 if he’s too strong) keep him at 3,2

If you play mordo and then mobius before turn 6, does his ongoing effect "lock in" mordo's cost change? Reverting cost from 6 to the original cost is technically a decrease.
Werewolf by Night in a bounce deck was always so fun to think about how to maximize his power.

The only card that's weird for me to look at is American Chavez. Just seeing it at a 1 cost is so weird to look at for me

Sentry at 4/8 was his original stat line and was bad sure we didn't have anni back then but still feels bad to touch a core package card all the while hela with her staggering win rate when played is left untouched

Not sure how they have not nerfed hela yet all they need to do is change her ability so she brings back 3 discarded cards instead of all the discarded cards then she is still good and usable without being a pain in the arse
It because it not a very good deck , really , it really only took off because Shang was 50 percent of the meta or some bullshit, the whole idea of that deck was "I can't be Shang'd and the opponent has to soul read where I play Hela." But that's just not good enough anymore. The buff they are doing are making it so that decks that think beyond Hela can just go over the top , or close her out. Shell fade back to a couple of percent of players who just love that style of play.
Dammit. I haven't played in months. Buffing Cap will probably bring me back 💀
Werewolf Surfer with a bunch on On Reveals and things like Kraven was one of the decks I had the most fun with, and looking forward to giving it another go! Sage might be good for it, so think I'll spend some of my spotlight keys and get Sage!
Those backdrops are looking better and better all the time. Great production value Cozy. When is my boy Colossus gonna get some love? The shiniest X-Man never has a chance to shine, although some Namora builds are using him cuz he's invulnerable to Shadow King & Shang-Chi.

@@flameman1188 yeah, but you have to have enough ongoing to fill a lane consistently to consider using him and you have 2 other lanes that they could attack. You have to have a large number of ongoing to use the effect, then you can only play them in one lane or risk the enchantress. and i haven't even mentioned echo.

I wish they made the strong heroes in the marvel universe actually strong! Some of the best strongest characters in the comic books are weak in game.
I also wish they did more synergistic buffs like xmen or spider heroes playing together get some sort of a bonus.
Yeah they've toyed with that recently. But most of the spider cards do have a natural synergy now which I really like. I hope that they can make that the case with others, but in fairness, most spider characters have basically the same powers, whereas Avengers/X-Men have such varied ones that it's very difficult to make the both thematic and synergistic.
Plus something like a flat power bonus would make balancing cards very difficult
sentry change actually kills one of my own unique decks, gotta run cull obsidian and an extra 1 drop now

I think at least make Hela zero power like arnim zola. He shouldn't be at zero power because he's such a situational card but Hela comes with a tone of power when she's played

NOOOOOO. grandmaster major nerf. +2 is nothing. But his best place in a ravona/negative deck has been completely ripped away from him. Well, lets see if he now fits in a c2 deck.
They don’t play their own game enough; so they don’t know how to buff cards properly. I bet you they didn’t even test it, they just throw card changes at us wildly

i wanted to pass on sage, then i opened a cache when the leak happened ...and i got her on the first one just in time...glad for this leak
Sentry nerf is fine. Pretty much a buff. Lol. The Void is still a free Hobgoblin and like you mentioned now Sentry is safe from Shang. Not that he's been flying around the meta recently. Luke nerf is scary purely cause now he's susceptible to LDS, so I might start playing him alongside Ant in that Armor lane. Lol. Luke used to just be a decently low cost card to tickle a lane with who also saves my ass from the High Evos and other stat dropping cards. Now I don't feel as comfortable throwing him in a lane without Armor. A lot of solid changes here.

I want to shout-out second dinner here. Cozy works closely with them and has been in official advertisements and other content talking with devs. To be allowed to report on a leak and not lose your company favor, shows Second Dinner is really nice unlike most other studios

Except they do actually draw. You might naturally draw a 6 drop, or something like a silver surfer, which you'd likely save until turn 6 anyway. And you don't have to fill a space with a -1 power card. And if they play Mobius it does nothing.
It's probably best against 5-drops - especially Sera. But then again, Iceman can do the same thing for 1-cost...

I love that the most part are buffs to underplayed cards, rather than nerf all the meta cards.
I think grand master is going to be great in bounce. Could re-trigger bounce essentials like beast which I think will be super fun! 🙌🏾
I was already doing that and now I can't, not in the same deck, because of this change . 😔 Feels bad . All I need was his effect and the ability to pay 1 for him sometimes with Ravonna, and to use him to double Beast, which technically still works just not in my deck anymore.
Grandmaster buff is intriguing. Been playing him a little lately so I’ll take it.
Werewolf buff is super hype. You said it Cozy: he’s one of the most fun cards in Snap. Let’s f*ing go. And as an Anni/Galactus player, I’m honestly not too bummed about Sentry. I think I’ll take the defense against Shang over the stats, cuz they won’t mean anything if he gets sniped.
Overall, seems like a cool patch. Looking forward to it.
The Sentry debuff is a debuff to my man Skaar as well… I was climbing ladder so well with my niche under the radar Skaar deck… well, it’s been fun while it lasted!
Love that Sentry Buff. Only thing holding us back was that Shang!

with the captain america buff theres gonna have to be a solid cosmo counter or else whats stopping cosmo, cap, ant-man, omega, onslaught etc big buff to tribunal decks also

I loved spectrum at 6/7 but she is still okay as long as other ongoing cards like cap are getting buffed.
Not surprised that leech gets the hammer. I (and probably most players) saw how bad an idea he was at 4/2. immediately.
I really need to get my hands on werewolf NOW! Really wanted him in my collection at his release and whiffed and now he is my top priority to pick up.
Sentry being below Shang chi range isn't terrible.
Mordo is still not a great card, they just need to complete burn the card down and give some kind of anti move or negative move mechanic like kingpin or 2099. Maybe a combo of those two cards. Like when he moves he gives something on the other side a minus x to its power. Just to give him some connection to strange.
I’m excited for werewolf. I’ve been playing with him in a nocturne deck and he just isn’t really playing at a higher tier like I want him to.

When cards *only* work in negative decks, it's a surefire sign that they need a big buff.
Have a small doubt,so does playing cap buff other cards that are already in that location or the cards that come after cap on to that location

Werewolf USED to be a 3 cost?! I thought he was always a 4 cost because when I got enough tokens and he was in the shop on rotation he was a 4 cost so I used him with Zabu before the nerf! Should I use him with Silver Surfer maybe?🤔

the Sentry power downgrade does indeed feel more of a buff. I don't have to worry about Shang and focus on math-ing the other lanes.
Sentry change is a buff. Now it avoids Shang chi and can still be played on curve.

Sentry will be getting a big buff from Sersi and I think this is in preparation for that. In a vacuum, I agree with a nerf but probably only 1 point each. However, changing the Void to a random 5 cost with Sersi on curve is insane power, and I suspect that was reflected in their internal play testing.
I like the potential change made to Baron Mordo...but I felt it might be too OP....all cards drawn will be cost 6 until turn 6....damn that harsh

How did they nerf Luke Cage if his ability is that you can't reduce power?
Throw Cap in Tribunal. Cap, Iron Man, Onslaught and Tribunal in a single lane
Captain America should be what ever cards that are on his side can’t be destroyed and plus 2 in that area
I don’t understand why their explanation for not wanting to change captain america, etc. has to do with them not wanting to mess with the new player experience. It makes no sense when they have changed so many of those series 1 cards: Spectrum, Punisher, star lord, Hawkeye, Medusa, Jessica jones (I think), ant man, wolfsbane, white tiger, namor?, America Chavez, blade, angel, apocalypse, strong guy, forge, yondu, elektra, prof x, cable, Angela, klaw, lizard, sword master, mantis, wolverine, uatu, rocket, groot, maybe more but I don’t remember.
They have basically nerfed or buffed or changed every single series 1 card in the game at least once but Captain America couldn’t get a buff until now.
Second Dinner is not consistent with what they say & what they do.
