OK now that enough time has past! I refuse to belive the manhunt are 100% legit. There is no way the hunters are this incapable. I know that dream is good in pvp but there are a lot of times where things just work out to perfectly for him.
It's more than just being good at PVP or even just at the game. It's way more complex, it's more akin to a psychological war.
Both parties have to:
Obtain ressources (just getting wood, stone, iron and diamond before the other party changes everything)
Manage ressources in every possible way (they don't have a house with chests and if they die, they loose everything) ("What's the best use for this? A weapon? Armor? An item? Should I keep it for later?")
Analyse their surroundings (find the best path, spot interesting things and avoid cornering themselves)
Think and act fast (reacts to traps, mobs and ambushes)
Have intense knowledge of everything about the game (generations particularities, entities behaviour, crafts)
Predict a lot of things a normal player wouldn't even think about (starting with the traps)
Pursue their winning objective
(Should I continue?)
All of this while they:
Trap each other (self-explanatory)
Juke and trick each other (the famous Dream being reckless at 1 heart but fleeing at max health, but only sometimes)
Intimidate each other
Joke (OK that one is on them)
Try to get in each other's head
Talk in a voice call where 6 people can be screaming at any giving time (it overloads the brain and it does it *FAST* )
They also record and play for hours without breaks, add in the stress of failure after effort and the tiredness.
They also learn from the past games and adapt, but they can't adapt to what they never saw and don't expect.
They can think one thing will happen/is happening while it's not. Subvert expectations.
And even *_IF_* the Manhunts are not fully legit, they are for entertainment first.
Oh, and if they are incapables, why don't you challenge them? Or better yet, do better than them.
