Can someone please tell me how well abrasion resistance 600d polyster is. Many riding jackets & pants in India are made of 600d polyster with Invista cordura on shoulder, elbow, knee & shin area. I am aware Invista cordura is more abrasion resistance, but how much normal 600d polyster is at withstanding abrasion resistance.
I can! I worked in product development and testing in the Moto industry for 18 years. You will be surprised to know in all my years of testing 100's of fabrics including many Cordura qualities, normal 600d polyester always outperformed Cordura. 600d refers to the weight of the yarn, so not all 600d constructions are created equal, but even apples to apples woven construction, Cordura brand never outperformed the generic.

Is anyone have idea about dial guage or diameter guage used for abrasion resistance of lining/ insocks?
