I was abused as a child, and I received no support at all from my parents. As a response, I developed strong feelings of rejection towards childish stuff in general, and towards my own childhood in particular. Little by little, I've become conscious of my problem and I've been working to confront my ghosts. So, with watery eyes, I say thank you, for making this lovely video.
I relate to this, but rather than reject, I ended up clinging to childish things really hard. Its weird to think that there is not a single reaction to childhood trauma...
Me as a kid: I'm all grown up!! I hate all this infantile stuff, I wanna own a car and have a job and move somewhere far away and- Me as an adult: Teehee goodnight moon 😊
I really needed this. My mom passed away when i was 7 and the only clear memories i have of her are when she is tucking me into bed and gently humming me to sleep. Thank you

I really needed this Feeling like a little kid and getting comforted as if I'm a 4 year old I didn't really have this as a child and now I notice how much I need this
Yeah, my parents would just tell me good night and maybe give me a hug and then tell me to go to bed even if I cried they didn’t rlly do anything. So i like to age regress even tho Ik my parents love me they never gave my enough attention :/ So yeah I understand:)
Thank you so much for this. I don't have an emotionally safe household, and with all the stress I've been under lately, finding this really made me feel at ease and also brought me to tears but thats not the point- Thank you so much for this. It really helped ease my stress :)
I really appreciate this video! My mum and I were never close. Her and I would always get into pointless agreements even when I tried to help. My dad was always working so it was always awkward at home. I’d always have to tuck myself in when I was little. When I got older my dad got me a phone when I was 11. That is when I discovered asmr. Over the years asmr has helped me gone to sleep and this one is special because that last time I was tucked in was when I was 5 by my dad when he had to work from home. So this one hits different because my mom rarely tucked me in. Thank you! :)

And every night my grandma who passed away in august of a stroke used to read goodnight moon and rainy rainy saturday to me every night before bed. This is very comforting to me. Thank you for all that you do. You really nailed this. I hope you do more like this in the future. Happy holidays to you bekah and to anyone who reads this.
