if you choose prism break's second path, the one that upgrades your crystals, you can cast 3 at once and then if you move forward slightly you can cast 3 more then aim the emerald energy beam at the 6 crystals and they will refract into lots of different directions. also his soul gem is good, once the enemies are almost dead you can use the energy beam to turn them into crystals and then the emerald energy beam can refract from that crystal onto more enemies so there's lots of crystals there
i think you can use the crystal attack to hit the eyeballs from below. They are primarily used to drop on enemies. If trying to use the refraction ability, the crystals usually work better if you can get them out before you attack enemies, but it can be hard to aim it. One of his later upgrades makes the triple crystals which make the laser refraction way better.
Prism Break is really awesome if you have the "Chained Refractions", "Triple Refracted Beam", and most importantly "Shard Soul Prison". With these three abilities and entire swarm of enemies will be wasted in just a couple shots.

I don't. I got the Crystaleer path and with the massive Crystal Eruption, he's POWERFUL. I'd rather keep the lasers instead punching with gem hands, the other Earth skylanders are only good at close range. Prism Break can be a great skylander if you know how to use him, he's just hard to master.
You should pick the crystalere path then you get three crystals at once and you can do three at once so just have the room full with crystals then shoot in it crazy

I just got mine yesterday, and i would way prefer he hit bad guys instead of firing a laser, its a neat idea but frustrating that it's his fastest most accuarate attack. I really hope the 2 new prism breaks arent the same. Because he is one of my favorites based on looks. But not to use.

Crystaleer is WAY better and provides him better defenses, the extra armor helps too. But Prism Break isn't too strong compared to the rest of the earth guys. Ignitor (Soul of the Flame) is way stronger than him.
Dude nice videos. I really love them just you need to make a video for where to get skylanders what are the best ones to choose for beginers and more advanced peopple like me and you now I don't have alot if skylanders but there good and powerful so talk about stuff like that

Yes, the Series 1 figures still work in Giants. But they don't get anything though, only the Lightcores and Series 2 guys do.
gotta be honest i didnt care much for the laser beam stuff - i mostly went for the crystals smashing from the sky

i only have bash as my earth skylanders but thats good since he is one of my favorites
I would use the drop crystal attack to use it as a shield and then fire the laser so you can hit enemies and block them
think prism break is the best earth element skylander,cause he has attacks that are both long and close range,his attaks are in balance

I Love Prism break i use those crystals as a type of shields because he is slow and takes alot of damage form the shooter long rangers
