- A unique set of notes for a bourbon coming out of Sisters, OR. Rex & Daniel also discuss meat-cicles.
Big thanks to Trash Titan William Schappert for the bottle. All hail!

One day they'll discover Emma's secret knife draw; where all the vault knives go to be together, surrounded by Laphroaig glasses.
Or Brianna's mooching powers have gone beyond whisk(e)y
Daniel, we have to talk. You're the genius who always has an answer for everything, and Rex is the comedic master. As I am neither smart or funny, I'm kinda living my life vicariously through the both of you.
When Rex asked you where your knife was, you didn't know. You actually said "I don't know". I can't have that.
So let me give you a tip of mine that I have been using for almost 20 years: If someone asks you something and you dont know, glare at them defiantly and say "YOU don't know". It really puts them on their heels and throws all the momentum back on your side.
This is also immensely satisfying, and quite addictive.
You're welcome.
Meat popsicle is from the movie the 5th Element. " are you classified as human"? "Negative, I am a meat popsicle ".
A meat popsicle is a shishkebab, isn't it? Unless it has the creamy filling as Rex suggests 🤢🤮😱
@@wasabista1613 Maybe but I bet you $ that the screen name was based on that movie line.
Multipass
I'm HIGHLY disappointed in Rex for not knowing this ..
I filled some holes in my DVD/Blu-Ray collection today, and one of them was The Fifth Element.
The others were Point Break, steel-case Batman Begins, and the Die Hard Trilogy box set.
Good morning you MBs!
Anybody else suspicious of Rex's description about having knives hidden around the office...?
Rex, you have a great camping asset right next to you. Just ask Daniel, he should be able to tell you all the best camping spots in the Shire.
"Campingk" spots?
That trash titan acknowledgement is eventually going to end up as 'Goddamnit [blank], stop sending whisky'
"Meat popsicle" is a 5th Element reference
Welcome to the William Schappert Vault ....I'm Daniel and I'm Rex.....and today we'll be trying another whiskey provided by William Schappert. :)
Rex, make up a set of business cards for Daniel that say "Daniel Whittingkton." Maybe hack the Wizard Academy website as well.
I would love to see that whisky camping idea come to fruition! DO IT REX!
I knew *immediately* that Rex's "older" food choice was liver and onions. The pandy closed the Luby's where I went a few times with my grandfolks. Stupid virus...
GOOD MORNING YOU MB'S...... 🥃
I mean, we either talk about the Daniel "ingk" or we talk about how Texans appear to have no idea how/when to use when vs whenever. Your choice.
Review time, WOOT!!!
I think Will here has sent in enough whiskeys to have his own day, give him Saturdays and call them "Schappertday" from here on
Thanks you magnificent bastard 👊🏽🥃
Rex, I don't often name a personal hero... but L&O at a cafeteria for the folks. Win sir, win.
Good Morning Magnificent Bastards!
How many bottles have you sent them!?
@@TacticalKiwi4862 too damn many.... :) A lot!
My local bar makes a hot toddy variant with this, called a Broken Top Warmer. It also uses instant cider, maple bitters, star anise, and a spritz of Absinthe. It's one of my favorite things ever, especially in winter.
That does sound kind of amazing. I always keep a bottle of Elijah Craig around as it's my favorite for hot toddies whenever I get sick but my recipe is far simpler.
idk if im crazy or not so thought id ask. Ever find a bottle that taste different after a few days than it did when you first opened it?
As you get used to a whiskey it will often begin tasting different to you.
Try the broken top 113. It’s amazing.
Just bought a bottle of the 113 proof version. It is delectable. Two disappointments though: 1- not tasting the chocolate mint. I love chocolate mint, so this is heartbreaking. 2- "distilled and aged in Indiana". I see, so it wasn't made in any way in Sisters Oregon.
Good morning Gentlemen.
Good morning MBs great content enjoy your day
It’s Thursday! Thank you Daniel for being unique even in Waco! Tally Ho!
Rex ripping on Dan for his funny words in the same ep Rex goofed on saying Bear Grylles is fantastic.
I might be late to this, Great to see the Lagavulin back in a place of respect
Another amazingk episode
On the meat-sicle topic: On the Tribe channel could have a meat-sicle whiskey paring. I vote for the Liverwurst-sicle pared with Laphroaig.
Rex's camping idea sounds a lot like Whiskey Mountains! 🤔😅
I think it sound more like The Boubon Van.
@@whiskeyberger5029 I'll have to look them up!
@@zanderwow Phil and Julie are great. They live in Oregon and travel to places in their camper van.
Good morning you cool kids.
What happened to all those knives!?
Think a few live on the road whiskey reviews would be good. Imagine the magnificents
Camping with whiskey - sounds like a great idea. Maybe you should talk Adriana of Whiskey Mountains.
Pretty sure Rhett and Link did something similar to a meat popsicle for one of their Good Mythical Morning episodes called “Will It Popsicle?” 😂
My favorite is how Daniel says Crayons hahaha
Hey MB's!
I love liver and unions, i get it from my dad, as well as my love for crawdads feasts during the summer. I call Liver and Onions the "meal of kings" and everyone else I know even my grandparents thinks I'm crazy for liking it.
Ah yes, the famous Bear "Grillis".
any up date on that "indefinitely"
first
Happy Day, MB's
Tried Cascade tonight. very nice
Really good roast beef sandwiches with horseradish and mustard with the hot au jus are amazing. I think they call 'em french dip sandwiches and I would definitely pair them with a sherry finished Islay whisky like Ardbeg Uigeadail or even Laga 16, what's not to love?.
I know the Titan animation speeds up every new time someone sends something in, wouldn't it be hilarious if the trash titan slowed down, to make it even trashyer?
A lot of qualifiers on camping, followed by "it CAN be fun"
Daniel's favorite actor is Edward James Olmost. 😆
*Daniel, quick, your up. Anddd... Action:*
"I know what you're thinkingk. Did he fire six shots or only five?"
*Damn it Daniel, Dirty Harry is next week*
"..and he taught me to singk a song. If you'd like to hear it I can singk it for you"
*No Daniel. This isn't 2001 A Space Odyssey!*
"Indian Jones. I always knew some day you'd come walkingk back through my door. I never doubted that. Somethingk made it inevitable. So, what are you doingk here in Nepal?"
*You're fired*
Don't you disrespect the Luby's, Daniel! That is some good, old folks-style eatin.
Best of mornings to all
(Gertie elbows Edna) "I know that Dan over there is lactose intolerant he is such a BAD boy! A Viagra nightcap won't be needed your going to party like its a Sadie Hawkins sock hop!" lmao
Ah Luby’s, Heavens waiting room.
I thought this was MGP... I recently sent in the 2 year cask strength version, which is in a new bottle, and it definitely says distilled in Indiana...
I have no idea about yours but this bottle says distilled by Cascade Street Distillery in Sisters, Oregon
@@wingracer1614 yep, that's the same company from sisters, OR. They put out broken top whiskey, though the bottle looks different now. Eventually we will see the high proof version on the channel. I don't have the bottle anymore but I swear it said distilled in Indiana.
Rex should check out Overland Eats, I bet he’d like their outdoor stuff
I’m all over the Luann baked chicken at Luby’s
Daniel also says "bolth" instead of both.
I really enjoy their 113 proof bourbon.
I may be passing through Bend in 5 weeks. Which of their whiskeys would you recommend?
@@michaelb1761 the 113 proof is the only one I've had so far but it's good.
Someone please explain the trash titan thing to me?
You better hope Brianna ain't taking all those knives...🦹🦹🦹 Or it will be KNIVES OUT 😳
Howdy y'all!
"Cream filled meat popsicle"
If I drank alcohol, something that had a chocolate mint note (iced chocolate mint tea is an amazing thing, btw) would immediately move to the top of my list of things to try. Must file this info away for when I meet someone with similar taste preferences.
Morning MB'S
Another great videok
Daniel doesn't like meat popsicles but does he likes corndogs?
Isn't a corndog pretty much a meat popsicle?
In shape, but not in temperature. Unless you're a fan of eating them straight from the freezer.
Their rye is excellent.
I love this
7:58 Is Rex slowly becoming Norm MacDonald?
Indefinitely? :(
They don't know how close to old they are. They are very close.
Daniel just doesn't handle that mushy meat. You need to handle that with some extra love damn it!!!!!!
Whisky camping 🏕👌
You need to put a knife holder on the back side of the podium
I'm an "O-moster"
Cardboard cutout Daniel and Rex are much better looking than real Daniel and Rex.
Tonight I'm drinking milk
Why is there ALWAYS one dislike on every video? Who is this joker?
Please, never let Daniel talk about key lime pie again. It almost went creepy.
Not gonna lie ... Liver and Onions are good
I have been camping with whiskey. It wasn’t pretty.
Scotch. Scotch scotch scotch.
How is it you are always losing knives and have no ice? Hilarious!!
Lol even the people in waco
Sadly Luby is on its deathbed with the parent company's decision to "liquidate and dissolve" all its holdings to distribute payments to the shareholders. Hooray for capitalism
