My mother in law was English. And going to restaurants here in the states was an experience. The instructions and warnings to the poor wait staff!
My husband has me set a timer if I order tea for him so it can steep for the perfect time.

Here to attest that the cardinal rule of “If you don’t know what it means, don’t google it, it’s not for you” is highly highly accurate. I thought, F that, I’m an adult, I can google it. Nope. Googled “teabagging” and I gotta say, it’s definitely not for me. Yep, I should have listened, I really should have listened, if you don’t know what it is, don’t google it, it’s not for you.
