The Sandy Shocks was for Mimikyu more than manipulating the prize trade. Briar doesn’t replace it. Playing Shocks or not is a meta call, not an option with Briar.
@@GoOKuSj33 It needs three energies to do anything relevant, and Manaphy makes the attack useless, so idk if it’s better. Depends on what uses it has and which situations it is good in. Mimikyu is is Gardi and Stall. Stall is almost an auto loss depending on how many switch cards you play and Gardi is a terrible matchup for Bolt. So maybe cutting the one Prizer is the way to go.
@@toekneeheadless2393 Pidgey has 60 hp, you only need 2 energies to snipe it, it's working pretty well for me, it they use manaphy you just catcher and ko it, and I don't think you can afford to take auto-losses in the game anymore, if you can maximize your chances of winning, why not?
I mean there were plenty of day 2 raging bolts, i’d say it did pretty well overall at Baltimore. There were a lot of people who probably said not to play Gardevoir as well.
Just started playing pokemon tcg live this week. I have just the basic decks to start. What deck would you recommend building first? I have about 2200 credits
i feel like it helps alot with consistency and just gives u some extra draw to find ur pieces, so i wouldnt opt out of it imo, since it is also a draw card that can be gotten from pokestop
I’ve actually been having a lot of success recently going first with the deck. I hate going second with the deck and missing the KO because it feels like it happens too much, but going first I can guarantee an attacker.
@@nelsonbabilonia4405 Been playing this deck since it came out and haven't bricked that much anymore, it's way more consistent now, crushing at the ladder lately.
Dom here! I think Noctowl is a really cool idea, I am yet to come up with a list that I'm happy to share with everyone, but I think the potential is there. As of right now, Noctowl is probably less optimal.

I honestly like the little bolt so much more, it snipes the bench.

Shocks does help with mimikyu, if you often play against mimikyu then shocks is a great card!

Sandy shocks is shit i prefer slither wing
You need a single prize attacker for some matchups, I suggest the little raging bolt, it’s a bench sniper.
could be interesting

not many

Right now I would invest in Raging Bolt and Charizard. Check out other videos and metafy group for more info.
@TheShuffleSquadTCG thanks so much for the quick reply
Love Raging Bolt content! Thank you!
thanks
How necessary do you think the trekking shoes are going forward? Im seeing lots of lists opt out of it

It mills you a lot, I’m not using it anymore
It’s nice to have but is cutable for other tech imo.
@@GoOKuSj33 the point of turbo decks is to dig ur deck fast to find pieces? What r u talking about
@@BanditTools yea but turbo decks like bolt cant rly cut consistency and draw for tech options
I run the baby Raging Bolt. You need an answer to the mimikyu. It also attacks the bench.
Me too, I stand by that.
could be cool
fair
Flutter mane on top lmao. I want to try baby raging bolt tho
A single match to show a deck is not enough, you always wanna do at least 3, otherwise you don’t have a percentage of error/success.
it is a fair showcase for the strat of the video. We have livestreams, our players offer coaching, feel free to check out our other content too

No, always go second with this deck, it’s too fast you only miss the first ko if you are unlucky.

going 1st is auto missing the t1 OHKO though

I definitely would run a single prizer otherwise this deck is 🔥.Which version is better in stellar crown the noctowl or the regular version

What do u think about playing a 1 1 Noctowl line in here?
Could be hot
@@TheShuffleSquadTCG i got 2 trekking shoes in my bolt list, thinking if 1 1 noctowl line instead is better maybe
How does Crispin play into this deck? Is it something to consider in the future?
Crispin is just a worse sada for this deck, don't see any reason to use it
@@yaringosu agreed
could be?
more or less
could be cool w/ noctowl as a "5th" sada in some builds
Alot of lists from recent tournaments are opting not to play any Ultra ball, what are ur thoughts?
Ultra ball could be cut for a single prize attacker or maybe some bravery charms! I value consistency a lot and they can help with that
@@TheShuffleSquadTCG true thats why i put them with trekking shoes too, dont wanna losing to be bricking!
What do you do if they play Aegislash?
Concede
you lose

Yoo this deck too op smh lol 😂 once I figured out how to play it game over
It’s really strong!
@@TheShuffleSquadTCG when you get a god hand it’s a instant win Lol
I feel like to back up this thumbnail you might need more than one stellar crown card
maybe
Crispin is a better choice
Nah you want to Sada every turn.
it isnt
this
I didn’t like Stellar Crown at all, too much hype for nothing, I hope Surging Sparks brings more innovation to the game.
same
The deck didn’t flop the players playing the deck sucked
not really
This deck is so brain dead
its a great deck though
