For the past nine years I've used one Laneige lip mask per year. I keep it on my bedside and use it before bed and it lasts a year almost to the day. Last year I tried two that were recommended as less expensive dupes and hated them both so I will not use anything else at night going forward. And although it seems costly when I buy it I have to remind me that I get around 365 uses.
I think it could be a good Idea if you do 2 or 3 blushes each quarter to get more exposure throught the year, maybe a powder, a cream, and a loose or a baked blush or you could do a cool tone and a warm tone
Last year I did panning, and kept a list of everything I used up. This year, I will have a daily basket that is my panning, because I learned I need a "set" group of no-thinking makeup. Some days I don't feel like finding a palette and need a face ready to go. Right now that means some creams, I'm not worried about most of my powder products. They have talc, fragrance and tons of preservatives. 😂
I'm gonna try panning some stuff this year. I've got a cream highlighter that I want to finish this year, and I've got a cream blush and a powder blush I'd like to hit pan on even if I don't finish them. I'd also like to finish the tinted moisturiser and some mini concealers, some mini mascaras, some tinted brow gels, maybe a brow pencil. I've also got a single shadow I'd like to hit pan on, a lip liner I'd like to try to use up, and a few things I just want to get more use from.
My project panning list is excessive this year but it’s including bath hair and body product along with my usual skincare, makeup, and perfume. I just want to have a good clear out to hopefully get a fresh start.
Other than eyeshadow palettes (have gotten it down to 17 from over 40)and foundation (i have 4) my makeup collection is orety curated now so womt be project panning just tracking what palettes I use to help decide if I want to declutter any
I'm panning the NARS Climax mascara, milani fruit fetish lip oil, milani eye primer, and the Pat McGrath Eye Ecstasy palette (the tiny 5 shade one that was like $14 and has a clear plastic case).
I love the heated eye masks! they help greatly when I have a migraine.. I'm using my dkny be delicious skin, don't want it to end.. we have a few of the same products to get through (inc hand cremes and sheet masks)
Coming on tuesday :) Time just got away from me at the end of the year and I upload less frequently in January so it's been pushed back but I haven't forgot it! xx
I already decant in to a smaller bottle to make it easier to use in the actual shower, the challenging thing will simply be getting through such a big bottle lol
👀 I must've said this commenting a subscriber, but I would love it if someone with a large collection just straight up used a new blush/whatever each week. I'm crazy enough to do it, but then again I only have one blush 😂
Be careful with that Sol De Janeiro cream. The actives in it caused all my eczema to flare up. Maybe patch test first. So sad as it was my favorite scent from the range.
Love the color of your hair. Have you ever considered a slightly shorter cut with more layers to loose it up at the top. It seems very taut and flat. Not like your personality.
Anyone have any tips on panning eyeshadow palettes?🥲 i have gotten the rest down to a rather small chunk but for the life of me can't seem to make progress on my palettes.
I started using the shimmers on my nails, and I like making shadow liners with duraline it helps a lot, also, whenever I travel I use my eyeshadow pallete as a face pallete and this is the only way I was able to use things up
It's really nice to multi task palettes. So many eyeshadows are beautiful blushes and I found perfect brown shades that work as bronzers or contour. Realistically it's more likely to find a good bronzer across my many eyeshadows than to find a good single bronzer. They do brown eyeshadows in so many undertones in palettes but bronzers are often too orange @@Mieczyslaw_Mason
I panned all or almost all of this KVD one that had all matte shades. I've always used powder for my eyebrows, and that year I was a redhead for a while. Having multiple shades that'll work for eyebrows got them put to use. Definitely do eyeliner with them. Like Hailey said here, she uses one eyeshadow to set her eyes above the crease and the brow bone. I was using multiple shades to help with dimension (contour, matte highlight) of the nose, eyes, cheeks, and jaw line. You can put down dark eyeshadow as a base for sparkly shades to help bring out the effect and color of it. You can also blend two or more eyeshadows to create a custom eyeshadow or blush. Amazon has products to do that. Hope this helps!

Same! My husband uses it at least once a week as well and it takes us a year to finish! Why even bother with a dupe…

The nails! 💅😍
You know yourself and your habits really well! I think you set realistic goals and wish you the best in your project pan:)

Great video! Quick question, are you going to upload a make up inventory video this year?
I am, it's just delayed! Will be coming later this week or next week xxx
😊❤

The one Jeff’s Shed Cosmetics coloured highlighter you wore years ago looked amazing! I think you can get away with some colour to your highlight

Love the video! So sorry for asking in case you’ve said and I missed it, but are you doing an inventory video this year? ❤
Some one else has asked in the comments and the response was that its coming but delayed.
@ Thank you so much for letting me know!

@@HaileyO awesome! Looking forward to it!
Love your nails ❤
Why not get a pump for your yognog shower gel bottle or decant into a pumpable bottle, just for ease of use

Oh no! Staying away from that brand then.
@@katia_gabriella its just that one, as it has actives in it. The original one works just fine.

@norah6304 i'll try to incorporate the face palette and liner tip, thank you:)!
