I was there in 2000. It was just opening up then. What a beautiful, beautiful place. I never saw a coastline as gorgeous as the Adriatic coast of Croatia.
What do you mean just opening? If is when you heard about it, then maybe, but croatia was always open, even during yugoslavia it was an open country and tourists were everywhere, not americans tho, and not many english in general, but germans, italians, austrians or dutch for the last 50 years it was a tourist country be it good or bad.
At least as for the Mediterranean Sea, Croatia is one of the most beautiful countries, as i believe. In spite of the war, Croatians have managed to do many and various worthwhile facts so that Croatia means the beautiness of nowadays. The man must be always in harmony with nature and this is respected in Croatia. I wish to this country and its people to enjoy the life and to give messages also others about this beautiness. Greetings from Greece!!!
Thank you my friend, been to Greece and I can tell you after my homeland Croatia, Greece is my favourit country. The beaches you have, history and the food makes Greece irresistable place. Pozdrav :)
I can vividly tell anybody that no job is secured, the only secured source of income is business and investment because with that you can have a good sleep without working under tension or duress
Absolutely beautiful. Parents took me on holidays in that area (pre 1970) from Vienna to Rome (by train) and then Vienna to Prague in Czechia by car, Vienna to Croatia and Bosnia & Herzegovina (driving down coast and back inland). I was completely blown away with the architecture, cobblestones (ok -with everything). Especially remember Zagreb, Split, Dubrovnik and then Sarajevo on the way home. I have very fond memories of just turning 18 and a boy about 12 gave me some hand picked wild flowers on Mostar Bridge and he didn't want any money in exchange. Wow, now that is hospitality! So glad to be able to revisit with wonderful videos like this.
Many people don't know about the beauty of this country, pure Mediterranean nature. Here in my country (Spain) we have a lot of foregein tourism we are one of the 3 most visited countries in the world for years now, but when we want to travel outside, Croatia is one of our favorites by far, a lot of "lucky" spaniards have a second home there for vacations, a truly gem of country, culture and people, that alone should tell you a lot.

Šibenik is an old Croatian royal town from at least 9 centuries, ( It was built by Croats ) with 2 National Parks (Krka and Kornati) and about a hundred islands. ❤️🌞. Šibenik -- on this side of the Adriatic no city has a larger old core, the city of 4 fortresses, the famous Cathedral of St. James (UNESCO). From the sea side to enter the city, you have to go through the canal of St. Anthony about 2 km long which is guarded by the fortress of St. Nicholas, also under UNESCO. Entrance to the NP. Krka 14 km away. Croatia is very beautiful and CLEAN.

As a Croatian, im very happy everyone likes to go and spend their time in my country. Right now, i wanna recommend the place i was born and raised in. Its called Sutivan and its a small place on the Island of Brac(Č). Its an absolutely beautiful place(For a Croatian like me, of course it would be. But trust me, tourists from Serbia tell me im pretty lucky to live there.) It has a few resturants and a pizzeria, if you go there, i recommend to buy pizza from the Pizzeria Bracera for lunch, and buy something from Resturant Miki for dinner. It has beaches such as Likva, Bistrica, Lučica, etc. We have a market, a very old park and a newer one. We have a football and a Basketball court/field. Or as we call it, “igralište”. Right by it you have a cage, and some work out bars. Same as two beaches, one is called “Mala Bunta” (Small/Tiny Bunta.) and “Velika Bunta” (Big Bunta.) And our popular story, back in the 1900’s, there was a story that we had a cat in the bell tower. So they built a cat sculpture at the same spot where the cat was sitting and years later in 2020, they put up a girl sculpture holding the cat and pointing to the bell tower. That scultpure is basically a stone sculpture sitting on a bench. Its very fascinating, if you want to check it out, i really recommend it. ☺️❤️

Oh my! Pula so beautiful
Hello,I am a subscriber of your channel, Many many thanks for sharing this excellent video about Croatia, Really it is an amazing country, keep going.
Dalmatia is a very beautiful land, my family is from there, so I've been going there every summer since the very young age, even though I am a Serb.
Favourite city: Sibenik.
@@fredmorossin1876 Nažalost, vi ste učeni da za svaki vaš neuspjeh krivite Srbiju i Srbe, čak i poslije toliko godina.
@@mihailoar o, kojem ti to hrvatskom neuspjehu pričaš?
odnosno, u čemu je to tvoja smrdija uspješnija od hrvatske, osim u izvozu šovinizma, i i srećom neuspijelih agresija na svoje susjede.

Nice background story and a nice favourite city, it’s my favourite as well!
PS don’t care about the chauvinistic fool’s comment, he just feels the need to put other people down on any basis to feel good about himself, the poor fool mistreats his own mother even probably.
We Croats don’t have anything against Serbs, only (Croatian) chauvinists do, and who cares about those fools and their evil.
Frede, ti nisi Hrvat već šovinist, smeće ljudsko!
@@mihailoar Dalmacija nije zemlja nego dio Hrvatske.
Šibenik is the first city in Europe to receive electric lighting, and the second in the world 🇭🇷 (N.TESLA efekt alternating current)
Im going to Sibenik and Krka watetfalls in a few days.
Jaruga Hydroelectric Power Plant or HPP Jaruga is the second oldest hydroelectric power plant in the world and the first in Europe. It was built under the waterfall Skradinski buk on the river Krka (today within the Krka National Park).
On August 28, 1895, just two days after the first hydroelectric power plant at Niagara Falls, the first Croatian and one of the world's first electric power systems was put into operation: the Krka Hydroelectric Power Plant - Šibenik. 🌞❤️🇭🇷
@@antonijajelic2575 Just been to Sibenik and Krka National Park. Wooow.. words cannot desribe the beauty of the Croatian land.
Also more close to Krka than Split

Love this!! Croatia is amazing
Croatia - gotta love it!
Beautiful country that I visited in my life. For me Croatia is the best old Yugoslavian country. Greeting from 🇳🇱
Croatia is in fact an old member of the Habsburg monarchy. Yugoslavia was conceived in Croatia, but we had no idea what awaited us when we joined forces with you. Even here you do not miss the opportunity to try to come to the fore. Stay where you are!
🇭🇷🇭🇷 u ❤️❤️ !!
Opatija, Rovinj and Zagreb. 3 my favourites ♡
You are from Croatia ?
What a beau country..thanks alot for very luvly posting
Priroda , planine, more, zapadna infrastuktura. Kraljica europe. HRVATSKA. POZDRAV IZ SLOVENIJE.❤
Beautiful! Especially the National Parks. Buildings are so close together in the towns. They are old historic buildings I know.

Wow, I'd love to visit these places. Thanks for posting!
I love our coast too but I have to admit they missed Varazdin which is a beautiful Austro-Hungarian town in the north. Also, inland towns such as Motovun deserves a shout
@split pomalo kako da nemogu?
So amazing!! Probably one of the most capturing videos I’ve ever seen.👍👍

I allready vizit Plitvicke National Park and it was amazing!!!!!!
can you please share name of ferry company to get to Brac from Split?
We Love Croatia from Iran 🇮🇷❤️🇭🇷
