I went to this show with my friend Richie, we drove from San Diego. Basically Mars Volta handed out orange wrist bands to their friends, which ment they had the best seats in the house up front row. Everyone else has to sit in the way back....I remember Cedric ran up stairs to one the balconys trying to jump off. Great show, the visual effects were great. Thanks for the upload.
Has anyone ever seen more footage of the 2007 Melbourne show? Other than the Pro-shot footage of Cygnus (which is already on RUclips), I can’t seem to find much footage of that show at all. Which is a shame, because I’m curious as to what the rest of that show sounded like! Lol.
it seems to me that this is a concert in Melbourne, Australia 03.17.2007, or the well-known video from DVD Bedlam in Goliath was filmed not in Melbourne, but in Los Angeles 03.04.2007

The backdrop they used for this little run was so friggin cool! Definitely my favorite of the ones they’ve used.
They always nail the backdrops. I feel like no other band can ever top The Volta’s art game.

The entire show was filmed by the band, and there is an audience recording. Sadly, neither has been released except for Cygnus.
