This song is My Anthem. Reminds me about my teenage years, when I was writing my first book, my last year of school and then, my first mistake with love. But this song saved me from fall deeper. I love you, Brooklyn baby ❤
No, the songs are composed and written this way. There is no nostalgia without lana. I am serioua, I have looked up.nostalgia in oxford dictionary and definition was lana.

I’m trying to find Lana’s best song but it’s truly impossible. Normally, I can handpick one good song that I like from an artist. But with Lana, it’s so hard... she has too many good songs
i remember my 14 year old self crying over the boy to this song, trying to fall out of love. four years later, same song, same boy and same feelings edit: i have the awesome boyfriend now whom i love dearly! however this song never fails to hit me with something i cant describe
On April 19, 2022, my childhood friend died. she could not cope with depression, and opened her veins. she was very fond of Lana's work, and very love this song. I remember she even had a T-shirt from Lana's cover. I cried and listened on repeat del rey, wherever I was. after her death, I realized that she was like Lana... just as incredible and beautiful. I really miss her, she was like a star that always sparkled for me, and then went out forever…
@aters actually, what's the difference how old this song is? I love lana del rey, both externally and her work. And I don't care how old she is. and I think you have no right to decide what to listen to me ^^
The evolution of Lana Del Rey from the BORN TO DIE era, to PARADISE and now to ULTRAVIOLENCE is praise-worthy, she developped as a song writer and as a vocalist, this transition in her genre/style is laudable, and very obvious in her music she's not little girl anymore (most of her born to die songs were written in her early 20's), she's a grown woman now, she's not afraid anymore, her music is now the way it is, the way she wants it. You can love it or hate it, but the charts aren't that important when you're dealing with a lyrical masterpiece like Ultraviolence. I hope the grammys take that in consideration, and give her the praise and recognition she deserves.
Probably the realest reading of Lana Del Rey that I've come across. I've followed her since she was Mae Jailer and Lizzy Grant, LOL! She has definitely evolved since her first album. Her lyrics are simple yet incredibly profound. She studied metaphysics--I can only hope for masterpieces from Ms. Grant.I just think she's so in tune with the scam of Hollywood and trying NOT to sell out. By her deviating from "Born to Die" pop trajectory, she is showing her true versatility. Plus the production on this album is flawless.
Ultraviolence sounds a lot more simplistic in comparison to Born to Die. Plus lyrically Born to Die was a lot more unique, alot of Ultraviolence is just cliche love songs.
It would be so funny if Lana Del Rey was hypothetically having an identity crisis right now because she just released an album of songs she hated. And then someone writes a comment like this.
When this song came out I was in my final years in college. I remember doing my art project and listening to Brooklyn Baby while painting. I didn't realise back then it would be the happiest time of my life
lana’s music gives me chills everytime. her voice is so angelic and her songs really transport you. it’s not depressing, it’s powerful. it’s makes me have such strong emotions but idk what emotions they are. i just feel so at peace yet so powerful. i feel delicate and strong. i just got into her but wow she’s amazing

FACTS, especially with nice bass.
The male vocals towards the end really make this song. Would’ve been awesome to hear Lou Reed himself on here, still such a shame he passed away.
All time fav❤
One of my girl friends sent this song to me before she took her life. I’m just listening to it for the first time. I never told her, but I had feelings for her. She was one of the first girls I felt something for. I’m gonna go visit her grave and play this song, I don’t know what else to do at this point.
I hope your ok she will always be there watching over you 🥰
i’m so sorry for your loss
Rest In Peace FOREVER, love...
Maybe you should consider PRAY for her, seriously.. sorry but play this song, won't help her at all..
@@de_rolands wow aren’t you negative, coping is coping, and whatever she does is help to her. honey, play this song, sit by her grave, and keep her company. i’m sorry for your loss, a death will never be easy but life has a way of showing you that they are still around in someway. keep your head up, huge hugs to you, you’re a brooklyn baby ❤️❤️🤗

I think she planned a music video with Lou reed but he died before that and the lyric in the song is a tribute to him. But I might be wrong

I love this song it’s so calming and her vocals are on point 🤍

Lana del rey is incomparable. No one like her. The greatest singer/songwriter/producer from 2010’s and 20’s
Only person I'd compare her to is the 90s band Mazzy Star, who she obviously drew heavy inspiration from.

Ultraviolence is so psychedelic, definitely prefer this Lana than her usual pop queen stuff. Either way she's a goddess!
i remember my 14 year old self crying over the boy to this song, trying to fall out of love.
four years later, same song, same boy and same feelings

30 million without even a music video, a lyric video. The music is just too good.
David Jung That’s a good point. You are so right.
I cant physically express how much i love this songgg
God bless you.
You are so right. My friend think she's depressed but it's just the way she sings. Lana's voice so beautiful.
thank you lana for ruining my social life with your masterpiece
