She was floating on that stage like an absolute angel, I wanted to cry! 🥹❤️
Hula gives us much mele and the ancient instruments and halau become one each other and so with instruments allways they connect as one even one performer alone on stage. Oh what an enjoyable gift is hula🌸🏝🥰mahalo nui to everybody. Eastside Maui love you guys. Maui all good🤙🏽

That's your true winner right there!!! They need to change the rules if the mediocre dancers keep winning every year. It's a dance competition and the best dancer should win. it's not a Hawaiian language competition.
It quite literally is a Hawaiian language competition considering it’s a major factor to the scorings. Love this hula as well, but don’t degrade Lopes and her ability because she comes from a line of Miss Alohas. None of these dancers were mediocre, some just checked off more boxes than others.
Stunning and the mele is just magnificent. Merrie Monarch is one of the best things to happen on this earth. Worldwide aloha even if for only 3 days.

She was my absolute favorite -- hands down!!!😍 There was no one else even in her league!!! How on EARTH did she not even place???😫 She embodied EVERY quality that Miss Aloha Hula should have. No one else did!😡 What the heck is going on with the Merrie Monarch judges???🤔

She should have been miss hula. Other who won had so many mistakes and didn't flow
