      I know I should have thought about the cold weather but though I live where it is much colder now, honestly, I eat salads all year long. I do love soups and will be sharing it soon as a side for your Thanksgiving or Christmas meals.
      I know that sounds strange but a hot bowl of hearty soup is delicious any time during the colder months.

    Hi Ms Berta! I'm having to play catch-up on trying recipes but your 4 Bean Salad is definitely a keeper! We all enjoyed it very much! I'm looking forward to the different side dishes in your videos. We always look forward to the big holiday meals with family who visit during the holidays, but I really enjoy the side dishes and the creativity whether it be a different combination of ingredients or a different method of preparation. Thanks for sharing your recipe and for another video! ☺

    This will be a MUST TRY for me. I love any kind of bean - fixed just about ANY way. I make bean salads all the time - especially in warm weather - b/c they're so easy, so healthy & SO delicious. They're practically a bowl in a meal. I think I have everything to make this right now except the Vidalia onion. And celery [which I almost ALWAYS have]. Will add to my grocery list. Thanks for this one, Berta. Anything BEAN is right up my alley! Yum.❤️🥕❤️

    Looks a great low fat high protein moderate carbohydrate Vegan salad, a must try. I'm in England and would perhaps have to search for one or two of the ingredients but will have a go 💛

My husband is a meat lover so I enjoy finding recipes that are manageable 😇 Thank You again for a lovely recipe 😋Looking forward to holiday recipes! Our son is coming over and he is a vegetarian, sooooo WFPBNO recipes are awesome! Yep! I have some recipes that I will be making for hubby so he is satisfied 😉😉 And thinking of this recipe....     Great recipe! Can’t wait to try this, the addition of celery is a great idea! I definitely will need to get my 1/8th of a cup scoop out of the coffee canister!😳😂

      Thank you, Savannah. Honestly, as I made the salad I had to measure each ingredient when I thought it was enough. That's when the 1/8 cup measure kept coming in. I was amazed! So, take that coffee scoop out and use it for cooking; perhaps you might consider getting another scoop just for your cooking...just a thought🤔

    The past few videos have been great, as usual. I have another bean salad for you, no proportions, though (sorry!): a variety of beans, eg kidney, chick peas, and black beans; some mango pulp from a can; lots of fresh lime juice; sliced red or Visalia onions; cumin, coriander, salt, and pepper. I can’t have heat, but my fam adds either Tabasco or hot pepper of some kind. I’d love to know if you try it!

    I would swap garlic chives for the scallions ... Just because I grow them ... I use honey for sweetness and brer rabbit for a little bite ... Might have to try syrup ... Next batch ...

    Love this. And you look so pretty with the scarf. Interesting you use both wet and dry sweeteners. I thought I was the only one who did that haha. I use agave and stevia in my oatmeal. :)

    Berta I love onions is it ok if we use red onions or green onions but I'm sure it's personal taste. Another note I think baby corn would taste good in this bean salad as well. Thanks again for sharing.

      Absolutely okay, Katie. It is personal preference. and that's good 😊. I also thought corn would taste delicious in this salad. I know now, since you suggested it, that I should have at included it as an option. But now everyone who reads this will know...add baby corn or fresh or frozen corn for an extra delicious taste!

    Hi Berta! This looks really tasty, except I’m not a fan of wax beans. Do you have a suggestion for a substitution? All I can come up with are black beans. Not sure how they’d do though.
