Thank you so much for this! I've been waiting so long for videos like this again where it isn't just compilation of rov footage and it actually teaches the viewer about the lifeforms seen in the video. I'm so grateful for the comeback of this format!
Those knobbly blue blobs! It delights me to no end that there are species still to be identified and named. There is still so much to learn about the deep sea!
I admire the symbiotic relationship between anenomes and crabs.. I also admire the outstanding visuals of deep sea creatures here at DSO, accompanied by such ambient music.. *Perfect symbiosis for sure!* 🎵💚🦑👏
I had never seen the green eyed fish before! How beautiful is he? Just gorgeous, I can watch your Channel all day long everyday❤❤ I honestly don't know how you don't have more viewers, I tell people all the time though for you!
You are undoubtedly my favorite channel!❤❤ I love waking up and having my coffee watching your videos, totally makes my day! I was just wondering this morning when I would see another video and how you were doing? I just woke up from an afternoon nap and found your video in my feed!! Let me tell you, I'm a happy camper❤ having my coffee and watching a deep sea Oddities video❤❤
I so enjoyed the CO.AG music in tonight's exceptional deep sea spectacle.. 🎶 The first track ("Moonlight") with footage of the graceful stingray is soooo relaxing.. The show must go on.. *and it does!!* I have learnt a lot more about many of these oddballs thanks to the additional info.. and would love to discover what those unidentified subjects are! Such an outstanding video! I am in awe.. Many thanks to my beloved DSO.. 💚🦑
The fish are fascinating the way they respond to the Rover and it's lights, noise or movement. #3 poses for a full-on face shot and it's oddly beautiful!
Have you seen the Tonga Trench footage of the goblin shark that was recently made public? It’s the first time anyone has filmed a live goblin shark in its natural habitat and it’s an adult too, which is especially rare! BTW the stingray appears to be a roughtail stingray (Bathytoshia centroura). It was formerly assigned to Dasyatis. The “filefish” also actually appears to be a related spikefish (Triacanthodidae). They inhabit deep water.
Well the goose fish is so bizarre! But check out his eyes they look like blue opals! They're stunning :-)❤ omg, but the poor things are really ugly out of water, if only that would keep people from eating them
The last blue blobs are definitely 🌊 🐖 (sea pigs) or sea cucumbers, the are definitely moving and I think I can sea the hands that feed mouth. Not sure. But I believe they are sea cucumbers 🥒 lol. The white gel seems to be part of it. Very interesting. I wonder what it would look like under uv light.

Coffee is VERY important. Couldn't live without the stuff!
Amazing🤩🤩🤩
That's the best vid of a swimming ray I've ever seen.
And the track by CO.AG was so perfect to accompany that graceful beauty.. 🎶👍

I always wonder if it blinds them or damages their eyes. They have been in the dark for millenia
Once again, I'm not really sleepy, so I'll watch some horrors from the deep!
AGAIN! PURE NIGHTMARE FUEL!!!!!!!
I appreciated all the extra information!
I absolutely LOVE when there are creatures!❤❤
I'm so interested of blue specimen! Reminded me somehow of sea cucumbers. Or sponges...
8:28 Dude is a legend
The crap like looking thing that they think is a spot Lobster cleaning its eyes it's just bizarre footage! I love it -

No but I've seen "the wild women of tonga" and it's amazing, watch the film crews version... good evening
I hadn't seen the footage, but I have now thanks to your comment, Hypanus.. Short clip but totally fascinating! Thanks for mentioning it.. 👍
That file fish was giving you the evil eye during the first half...

I would think fishermen should be careful of goosefishes' extremally sharp everything.
15:40 Anyone else catch the Pink Floyd reference?
Always.. 🎶🤗
I'm in love with that toad fish.❤
31:52 wow.. we literally have alien footage here. Internet should be here. Congress should be talking about this
