I do the same and like it, there is another mod you can do : you can use the Magura Piston Spring in The Brembo Leaver they are more soft than the Brembo Piston spring :) you can feel the improvement
@@olivierc.8420 yes, you need only the softer spring, no other parts. The leaver with 9mm piston is with the Magura spring relay a dream, i use it now on my 350 and it works good as on the 300
@@olivierc.8420 i would not buy they kit, it is to expensive. I had a old kit from my Magura 167 so I can try the spring for free . Maybe you can look only for the spring in special spring shops in the net , than it could cost maybe 2-5 $ and you can test different spring loads to find the best for you
Hi mate! How’s it going going? Just thinking to remove a couple springs in my sherco se250factory,how’s exactly the point? Remove just the two springs and keeping the bolts of remove the 2springs and the 2bolts?? Thanks mate!
My ktm is a 2005 , but what made biggest difference on clutch function for me was measuring plunger depth behind slave cylinder and selecting appropriate thickness gasket for correct free play movement . Thanks for the videos
I want to try this with Rekluse torqdrive clutch pack because it has more plates and shortens the travel between engagement and disengagement. The plates are steel so they expand less than aluminum. They are also thinner, so they have more plates. Where stock is 7-8 plates the clutch pack has 11-12. It is supposed to help transfer torque and more torque equals better traction. At least that is the theory.
Can ease off the clutch pressure on the KTM 300 by changing the pressure plate, it has 1, 2 and 3 dots which will increase or decrease the lever tension
Good video 👍🏼 I know this video is an old one but I have a 2021 beta 300rr and interested in doing this mod for a lighter clutch pull. Would I have to buy a beta 9mm brembo or would any 9mm brembo fit my bike?
Hi I just wanted to ask a question. I have a new sherco 300 and my clutch drags too early, almost immediately when I let the lever out. Do you know how I can fix this problem? Thank you
@@dawid265 i have about 100 hours on sherco with 9mm and 50hrs on ktm tpi and no any problems it works perfect. It’s just slower reaction time and softer

Hi Felix do I just need the spring only or are there other parts needed ? Can you give me a breakdown please

Hello what "tape" are you using on your clutch lever. Do you find your finger is slipping or what is your reason for using tape. Thank you
You mentioned using 5.1 fluid instead in one of your videos... Do you still stand by that mod? Does that make a big difference? Thanks
Great tip thanks as there not much on RUclips about sherco bikes

hello, is it true that a 9mm pump wears out the clutch faster? how does it behave after using it for so long?
brembo clutch master cylinder 9 ? What is the part number please ? Tnx
look for exc 125 clutch master cylinder in your ktm parts list
After 1 year are you recommend this pump 9mm ? Do you have any problem with clutch becuase you install 9mm pump ?
i still use it

Great info...thanks!
good topic, my sherco clutch is really tiresome.
Amazing thanks!
What do you mean with spring change from 6 to 4 exactly?
They remove 2 springs, leaving 4. If springs contribute 1lb each, it'd go from 6lb pull to 4lb.
Love the video bro
Brembo has 8 too?

Replace 3 springs with KTM springs, boom (2 st only)
Do you have the part number of the ktm springs ?
@@enduroforus2865 54832080000 is what I have in mine. Order 3, replace every other Sherco spring with a KTM one.
I think it's the brembo 10920349 at 150€
