OMG, I've been DREAMING of a procedure like this, that doesn't involve lip injections, just a lift! I have a large space between my nose and upper lip and I absolutely hate it. I've sat in the mirror mimicking this "lip lift" and I did not even know it was a thing, thinking "If only I could just lift it a bit, like this...". Well, Dr. Talei....I know what I'm saving up for

I've gotten lip injections twice in the past and end up looking like a duck! & now I over line my upper lip to make it closer to my nose, I'm so self conscience of it, but i googled possible surgeries for making your upper lip shorter and found this! I'm ecstatic! I can't afford it but hopefully one day! I'm just glad it exists!

me too. i’d always use my pointer finger to push my lips up to my nose and i look so much better. saving up before i’m 17 and hopefully i can get my dads consent without my mother knowing because she’d never let me do this.
Huge difference. I have never heard of this procedure but it makes a big difference and all of the patients looked better.
I really want to do this procedure. When I contacted them in 2017 the cost was $6500 USD. The cost now is $7500 USD. I emailed them and they said, "prices are subject to change yearly". The cost of the procedure is discouraging. Saving up will take some time. There is someone near me that offers its for $ 3000 CAD, but his portfolio isn't as trustworthy as Dr. Talei. Best of luck to anyone looking to do this procedure.

It is ridiculous. The whole procedure is literally cutting a little bit of skin under your nose and and couple of stitches. I am from Czech Republic and my procedure cost only 500$ ... Can't believe people would actually pay so much for this

There are lots of doctors who have no problem stating their prices for procedures. I've had a few things done to enhance my looks and will only see doctors who will be upfront about prices. From my experience the ones who won't tell you until after a consultation that you pay for are rip offs. If this is something people are interested in getting my advise to you is talk with doctors who won't charge you to tell you their prices. They either have free consultations or have prices listed.
His motto is if you have to ask, you can't afford it. Ha
I would love to have his aura lift and have 20k saved. It's great that its with local anesthesia. It's California, and I believe that aura lift is now in 2018 about 25- 30k... Just for the lift. I am transgender (Transitioned in my teens)so he will probably charge me more...lol

I really really want this done! I've always wanted that my upper teeth would shpw when I smile and talk! But there aren't any good lip lift plastic surgeons in Finland! I think Beverly Hills has the best plastic surgeons that can do this procedure beautifully!

These before and after photos turn back the clock ten years for some of these patients! Absolutely beautiful, especially if this was all they had done. I live in Florida, and it’s difficult to find a doctor that I’d trust, especially with this, because most lip lifts I’ve seen, end up with the patient looking like a WHO from Whoville, after. What is the cost for this procedure?

suzy Hall that's very sweet of you thank you, but if you notice how serious I look in that pic, all my pics are always like that's because I hate my smile, my uncle used to always make fun of me saying that I had old lady's mouth and since I have thin lips I over line them with lip liner, all that makes me self conscious about my mouth 👄 that’s why I never smile, my top lip covers my teeth so I don't have that nice wide youthful smile that a lot of woman have, that's why I would love to have a procedure like this one, I bet it would make a big difference.

I'm in Texas, and I was quoted 4500 plus 1800 for anesthesiologist fee. I think it depends on Dr though. I've seen anywhere from 2500 to 6000.

Hello. I had my lip lift done 10 years ago. It ruined my nostrils as incisions were made too high in the nose. Now I am thinking to repeat procedure although not sure, should incisions be made under nose, or repeated in the nostrils (as scars are already there). If it's done inside nose, should I expect to have complications again about nostril shape?

I was told 7-10 days before stitches are out. But the redness under the nose stays a little longer, which for women is ok because we can cover with makeup... well I guess guys can too if they don't care. 😀

@@Whiskersandwanterlust theres a documentary explaining why, somewhere on youtube. Basically hospitals pay people to write fake reviews praising the hospital. Thats why the hospifal or doctor u go to may not actually be reliable or safe
In Europe just go to dr Osuch or Maksim Sviridov/Igor Melnikov. They do it all the time and cost ~1000-1500eur.

Ya definitely it's done with anesthesia.. I was quoted 4500 for the procedure and 1800 separate for the anesthesiologist. I'm in Texas.

@@cindyosei3691 No I think it's because she has a fairly short nose and bringing the top lip up makes her face look more compact and on her it ends up bringing too much width to the bottom third of her face - some level of elegance is lost imho.

Dr. Ben Talei what factors would u consider while performing the lip lift in case of a patient who has more Anterior Vertical height of the maxilla? In other words the "lip lift" alone would just take care of the lengthened labia soft tissue, but the Anterior maxillary height attrition may not have happened at the same rate. So lip lift in such a case may end up with more than the desired teeth display.

I linked a picture showing how much of a difference a philtrum makes or breaks the masculine or feminine appearance of a man and vice versa. The guy in the left has a higher philtrum along with some other things on his face that are higher and it makes his face look so girly whereas the right, has a lower philtrum and lower set features which makes him look more rugged and masculine which I think is very attractive on alll guys but this is just my 2 cents! I'm sure you're awesomely talented and I wish I would have the courage to have it done but at the end of the day I don't think I could live with a scar across the base of the nose right in the middle of my face and I see widening of the nasal base on some pictures which would be the last thing I need LOL. But I can see that for some people it's a trade off😐thank you for posting the video though it was very interesting
I see no "widening" at the base of any noses in Dr. Talei's patients. Have you looked at his website? There's no one I would trust except him, to do this procedure. Very few doctors have the experience.

To be fair, he explains the placement of the scar and how it is hidden in the nasal fold. You will never notice it, as it is placed in the natural crease. He knows what he is doing, since he explains his placement.

Don’t choose a surgeon based on price- you aren’t buying a car, this is your face! That being said, lip lifts are usually anywhere from 2k-5k depending on where you live, and how complex your case is.

Some results are not good enough and I would not pay for it. For example, the first patient. Idon't like it at all.
why does everyone with lip filler look unnatural? they always have super deep smile lines & puffy lips
filler is great to help define lips and add a bit of volume. however, if you add too much, you start entering hot dog lip territory bc the skin loses its natural shape, essentially becoming a tube of filler. a reputable injector will add volume slowly over time, and they'll tell you when too much is too much. people who only care about your money will fill your lips with whatever amount you desire, without regard to how the end result looks.
What about the muscles within this area? Always think it looks funny when they tall and can't even move their upper lip lol

In America there’s more rigorous safety standards. It’s not perfect in America and you still see things go wrong, but you have a better chance than in Europe. There’s no standards at all if something goes wrong in Europe.
That being said, not all doctors in America are ethical either and they may not help you if something goes wrong

Katie Waity There’s definitely standards in the U.K. very high safety standards...and it’s still way cheaper than America. This guy charges 15K for a lip lift, I emailed his admin. In the U.K. I got quoted 3K by a very reputable surgeon.
