MD still has so many broken mill cards legal (grass, curious, chaos ruler) that you would almost always hit them. 2. It wasn’t just the banlist that gutted tear, it was also the release of full power kastira, whos gameplan is literally macro on legs and extra deck rips, that was just a hard counter to tear.
Yeah, and they say it isn't broken with the limits.. insanely coping people out there. this is 100% going to break the diversity even more in the game. time to stop playing for awhile until they eventually ban all the cards.
@@TheMasterBlaze i think farfa put it best. Ruler is at the very edge of being broken. It isnt as splashable as the other cards that mill and takes space in the extra deck
Ever since the patch its either decks that can run d shifter or tear. The tear mirrors have been the best games so far though especially if neither side gets to resolve dweller.
@Sebastián Chávez give it a month or two theyll hammer it down. Right now im just playing it as I never got to experience tear 0 in tcg as perle was expensive af. At least this way Ill get some of my URs back on the inevitable hit on both ishizu and tear
I played this deck on paper when it first dropped and it's easily the most fun deck I've ever played. It may not be full power but it's enough to give me that feeling I had before the TCG February banlist. It feels good being able to play it again at a similar level. Also I'd probably specify it's more of a control deck with aggro tendencies. The graveyard control you get from the ishizus plus how you can use stuff like Rulkallos, Kaleido, Cryme and Sulliek to stop opponent's plays makes it feel more control heavy than aggro.
@@SwagMaster824 Prob not. Master Duel is more sacky as it's best of 1 . No deck can really be Tear 0 even if it's the Strongest deck ever . Plus in 2-3 mounts they will ban KitKalos and the Ishizu cards and it will be completely fine as a deck to exist whit 2 Fusors and 1 Pelrino
The deck's biggest weakness is that Tearlament players are super easy to piss off if you interrupt them a couple times and will surrender even if they have the upper hand, just because you made them feel as if they played "sub optimally" xD

Problem with shifter decks is that they are bad. Tear just waits a turn and then pops of. Same thing with every other handtrap, they just wait and combo on your turn
@@swordswinger5 Dinomorphia doesn’t do anything to tear since the effects resolve in gy. Coupled with Pereleino, Snow, Shufflers to stop the special summons, that deck kinda just losses. Especially if they’re on Chimera

My pulls were so bad that I can’t make my build right now. I got 1 royal rukulos but that was it on 40 summons. And I don’t want to give anything else up rn cause I’m waiting for the new dogmatika and bystials.
As another one of the so called "Free thinkers" who picked up Ishizu Tear on release, I can honestly say it's been a really fun deck, and the mirrors have been sick! that being said, I do actually wish they'd hit the Ishizu cards. Tear is strong on it's own, but They wouldn't be nearly as obnoxious as I know they are for other strategies if it wasn't for the Ishizu cards. or at least thats what I think. Pre-Tear, I played labrynth, Branded despia and Phantom knight, and the Ishizu cards pretty much killed every hope I had at being able to play that duel. Genuinley, Just ban the Ishizu cards, but keep tear around. I do actually think that would resolve a lot of the issues people have with the deck.
Exosister and Floo are probably the top meta counters, an Ishizu variant might do great with the shufflers, and anything that uses the gy well itself can at least profit off of mills. Otherwise 3x Imperm, Evenly Matched, and maybe even D D Crow.
Exosister will be able to go against them. but are they strong enough? NO. Floowoondereeze = they will win against them IF THEY DRAW SHIFTER on turn 1 or they turn 1 set up Macro Cosmos. The decks weakness isn't just a mini negate on their grave. you need a Dweller anti graveyard. so Dimension Shifter is a must.

Con exosister estoy subiendo rango fácilmente ya que usan Tearlaments, es el deck que los mata y eso que yendo segundo me sacó Rulkallos + Dragostapelia y Dark Law (por si pensaba que era mirror) y le gané igualmente

Hadn't thought of forcing the shufflers with her, thanks! But i have been using Aussa + Dharc to help make Sprite Elf, and sometimes Zombie Vampire. Any card "borrowed" from the opponent counts as a level 8 for ZV, and two monsters taken works. And even when not in the mirror, everyone runs Maxx C :)
Watching the mirror go is beautiful when played correctly. This format goes to show how much of the Master duel community is actually willing to get better. But this might be a rough period for casual since its so expensive and powerful.

El mirror necesita habilidad y eso es lo mejor que puede tener un mirror, mucho mejor estos mirror que los mirror de decks combo que se pueden jugar en automático y ganar aunque seas un manco.
I like the Ishizu cards and how they center around sending cards to GY with Exchange of the spirit tactics. It just sucks they mesh with Tear so well. They should ban all of Tear to make Ishizu playable and then next banlist ban Ishizu to make Tear playable

@@lotannaarinze6581 ash for maxx c is also not as good, because for one, thats one of the few things ash will do. It wont hit much else in the mirror. Also, under maxx c, Kitkat+Sulliek pass is viable, gives them two draws at most

Would Tears still be as busted as they are if they had a "you can only use 1 of (card name) effect and only once per turn"? I feel that being able to both mill AND fuse in the same turn is the issue. If you could only use 1 that would slow them down a bit

Dweller not really kill tear imho with snow in the format. I won against dweller 2 times yesterday and chain snow before Dweller effect got resolved

And the matches are so long with tear , so long . I just beat 2 Ishizu Tear to rank up to plat using melffy spright , those 2 matches took 40 minutes

El mirror necesita habilidad y eso es lo mejor que puede tener un mirror, mucho mejor estos mirror que los mirror de decks combo que se pueden jugar en automático y ganar aunque seas un manco.

I like the Ishizu cards and how they center around sending cards to GY with Exchange of the spirit tactics. It just sucks they mesh with Tear so well. They should ban all of Tear to make Ishizu playable and then next banlist ban Ishizu to make Tear playable

Podría ser una opción pero Super Poly al final la decidí quitar porque no le afecta tanto al Tear ya que sus monstruos activan efecto al irse al GY. Además, siento mejor jugar solo 40 porque así es más seguro que tus mill sean los adecuados.

Well..... time t make decks that treat the GY like a second hand (like PK Fire, Skull Servants), or choose the path of violence and prefer to banish it all (Floowandereze, Gren Maju, Runick).

@@lotannaarinze6581 ash for maxx c is also not as good, because for one, thats one of the few things ash will do. It wont hit much else in the mirror. Also, under maxx c, Kitkat+Sulliek pass is viable, gives them two draws at most

Would Tears still be as busted as they are if they had a "you can only use 1 of (card name) effect and only once per turn"? I feel that being able to both mill AND fuse in the same turn is the issue. If you could only use 1 that would slow them down a bit
Just banish the material tbh. Consistency, high ceiling and recovery should not exist in the same deck, but here we are.
