A lot of the foragers were out but I may have to give her a boost! Thanks Brian!

I like the rotors as weights for the lids. That's something I would use.

For their size they work great!! I’ve been moving hives to out yards for the past couple weeks. Thanks Bryan!!

Rodney, how many have you caught so far this year? I saw a picture today of a very large swarm hanging in a small tree in Selma. I had drone brood and dry Queen cups 2 weeks ago in some. I will be checking them all again tomorrow since its supposed to reach 78 tomorrow and 80 on Wednesday. Good luck! I’m expecting you to exceed last years numbers..

I haven't caught any yet. There are a few that overwintered in the traps that I didn't get a chance to collect last year. Thanks for watching!

Don, he's probably caught 21 already.

Brake rotors yes! Got to send you the info on a $15 powered boom mike we just bought, love it. Walmart.
Never had problems with regular hives drawing out comb but I've broken more of those darn ears off...

I saw that lid going yikes! Your swarm trap turned into a bear trap! Small swarm but there's always hope!

Oh man I love those yellow frames! 😆 Maybe just gotta put them on earlier.

I'll try but they won't hardly draw them for some reason. Thanks Bruce!

I don't really like those plastic frames either. I bought a lot of them years ago but have been slowly culling them out. I've never had trouble with them drawing them out though. My problem is they bend so much when I am trying to work the hive, I am always worried about crushing the queen or other bees.

They’re just too cheap and lots of places for the hive beetles to hide. Thanks Joey!

That little colony is looking good. I can see them explode in population with enough food and warmth. Especially if you can donate a frame of brood from another hive.

That’s exactly what I’m going to do after they get settled. Thanks!
