I have a 2016 Lincoln MKZ, and it’s been nothing but great. I actually have been tuning it in my own special way; and it’s amazing. I am keeping this car till I die. 5 years and counting!
I have been driving Town cars since their inception..I currently drive a 20 year old Cartier with very little problems. It will be the last car I will buy.
Hate how they brought this car back and gave up on it again. Lincoln needs a true flagship sedan. I would love to get my hands on the latest one with the "coach" doors.
I just shared that my maternal grandfather would update his, with a newer model; every 2 years. I am going to upgrade my Lincoln with the latest version of The stage coat doors, Continental Black. I started searching for one today. This one is for you Granddaddy!🥰🤩
Wow, good luck. The coach door edition vehicles continue to be prohibitively expensive, even on the secondary market. I would certainly love one myself!
Would love to have one of those. People are opting out of sedans choosing SUV’s they’re what’s in now and the future. I Would love to have one, but I found that after I purchased my suv, it’s hard to return sitting lower again. Always bumping my head.
Well Cadillac is still making a CT5, and Lexus, BMW, Mercedes, Audi is still making luxury cars so Lincoln just abandoned the luxury car market for SUVs , they should be selling their mkz or zephyr here too
You're absolutely right. But I think the Lincoln division has been run by chimpanzees for quite a while now. Why is there no Lincoln equivalent to the CT5 Blackwing? OTOH, GM dumped the CT6 for much the same reason why Ford abandoned their Lincoln sedans. Both companies made misguided attempts to repurpose their sedans for a younger market. First rule of marketing, you got to dance with the one that brung ya. Like it or not, these are dad cars. And they abandoned the dads by tightening up the suspension, making them sportier and so forth. Nobody buys a Lincoln to be sporty. A Lincoln has always been designed to be the big floaty boat cruising down the boulevard. Both car makers abandon their own audience, and Audi and, of all people, Hyundai were too happy to step in. The Genesis sedans are excellent. And unbelievably cushy ride. Far Superior to the continental in every sense.

Really foolish for Ford especially Lincoln for discontinuing to manufacture cars. The Continental is a fantastic riding American luxury car and looks very elegant like the Aviator. Just needs to get the updated interior and the Continental comeback will be an appreciated welcome.
@@Allcarnews Thats Good i feel like Lincoln is known for having cheap plastic pieces or parts that break or fall of after a while, hows the door doing?, does the car have any other electrical issues? You're so right on! Earlier model cars have the tan or brown leather interior. Hell, I remember I had a 1994 Mazda 929 that had a powder blue leather interior. However, now everything has this generic cost cutting look. They've now put the money in the tech at the expense of luxury upholstery that gave cars their character.
I don't think that's a reserve. It's way too under equipped to be The reserve trim. I love the inside of the car, I love the front grill. The rest is just Ford playing it safe, genericizing this vehicle from the stunning 2015 prototype. If they had brought that vehicle to market, I'll bet this car would still be in production. Instead, they made the sheet metal incredibly generic and boring. I have no idea what they were thinking. Their vehicles have gotten even duller looking in design since then. It's a weird dichotomy, the Lincoln interiors continue to be among the best in American luxury brands. While the outside of their cars continue to become increasingly more generic. The only good thing about how bland the continental looks on the outside is that, ironically, it will age well. It will never actually look old because there never was a successive model, and the car is so incredibly generic looking that I doubt this vehicle will ever actually look old. The bigger problem is that as these vehicles age, more of them are coming onto the secondary market. Kids are buying them up now and putting stupid wheels on them and so forth. That's really painful to see.
Pretty much anything Japanese. Look at a Lexus IS….that Lexus will also go for 250k miles, and still be in damn good shape and a great drive. No, the trunk isn’t as big….in my book, so what? If you’re willing to settle for FWD like the Lincoln, there’s many more options from Lexus. But my eye would be on a Lexus, an Infinity, and Genesis WAAAAY before this. Can you imagine trying to repair electronic door locks in a car that was only made for a few years? And you KNOW they’re gonna break lol.
I've always loved the quietness of Lincoln Continental. I love driving cars where you can't hear the outside noise
