This is perfect! it's exactly what I need. It's really hard to find good information on gear between your starter build videos and character guides showing BIS gear. Can't wait for the healer progression guide.
I've been waiting for this guide to come out! This was a super helpful video. Two lvls away from 20 on my Paladin and I feel like I'm starting to get the hang of it a little bit. Looking forward to getting him geared better
That’s actually very nice video, since there are no tanks in the game 😂 so we can build our tanks with alternate characters, and sometimes didn’t know what to use. I would love a video like this for heal as well. Thanks again for the video 🥰
They have to raise % drops from old zone hunts, since new players low level cant do them solo, no more players around to help; gathering lures also solo is pain, drops should be guaranteed. Incentives to run old zones content
Great guide, so useful. I'm curious what you think about the Galactic Band ring with Defense/Incoming Healing and Survivor's Reflexes (up to 6125 Awareness based on missing health)?
@Aragon- but getting into content might not be as easy with only a 1800 set compared to 2500 set, besides I'm on vistani most of the time these days lol
Great guide! I would recommend though to get the changing Bull ring from adult dragons rather than the mastercraft one. Slightly less IL but probably cheaper. And you've done those adult dragons anyway while saving up for your armour piece.
but it's not the highest item level one, so sure, it could go on the list, but not instead of the mastercraft one. You can also get the mastercraft one made for you, for next to no AD if you just farm most of the materials yourself
Great video Aragon! I currently have an unbound Mythic Fortified Nature. Would you recommend to bind it and upgrade to Celestial or wait in hopes of a better Tank Enchantment to be released in the next Module?
Thanks for the video. I do not understand the choice of Bregan Bracers instead of Rugged arms from dragon hunts. You need to be hit many more times than hit an enemy to receive a flat boost to awareness, instead of a percentage to damage reduction with the rugged arms. If defense and awareness are maxed without the arms, would you go crit avoidance to make the Bregan arms fit in? Is that better than damage reduction?
the rugged arms are situationally good, like the opposite is true, you have to attack 5 times before you get hit to make any use of them. A lot of the time you can deal 1 hit and then get hit, causing you to only gain 1% damage resist for 10s. With the Awareness arms, especially when running to group up enemies, you take hits and get all the stacks pretty fast. In boss fights you can just let yourself get a hit a few times before setting up for your tankbuster and you have all the stats. Yes getting 9k awareness ratings from there will usually fit into most tank builds, at least if you are not using awareness enchantments. I use crit avoid and nearly always have.
The Menzo and Narbondelyn Hunts also have a chance of giving you good arms. the ones with the value change +7500 awareness/-7500 power .. I also run with them in endgame
For weapons, and the fact EVERYONE has access to Mod 28, Meteoric Weapons sets make a lot of sense for weapons. 3 Days of AD refinement, Two weeks of doing the new campaign, maybe 20? of the elites from the planets to get more Pieces of Nine, and 5 rounds of 5 rounds of Arena of Blood (which you are doing anyway due to questing in the new area). That gives you 2450 weapons (4900 ilvl), with decent stats and bonuses.
the Turban of shifting sands, yes it is good for multi target fights, but it really won't change much. Something you can pick up if you have spare time. It is not as important as the manticore bite bonus for boss fights
Plz do this for weapons. I just started playing the game. I'm at 55 item lvl and still walking around with blue weapons from undermount. I could use some help.
nice work, should help infuse some more tanks into the fold! can you do a item set video? been awhile, curious as to whats usable since there are so many high IT sets now as well.
I see lots of “endgame” tanks now going around with a broken set instead to maximise their constitution instead of choosing an artifact sect. What are your thoughts on this?
you should be able to screenshot from my video. I will most likely add a video with all the details of chult hunts and I'll make links to the maps otherwise message me on discord and I can send them to you
There is some good gear that is not listed. Mdom helm, diamond abyssal ring, mdwp boots, midnight whisperers boots from hcvos. It have a good passive for tank
I don't see any of them worth using. The helm takes too long to stack and not worth giving up one of those rings Either of those boots are just bad compared to the ghosted buff boots
@@Aragon- i can agree with the ghosted, but what about the mdom helm? I think u mistook mdom helm with mtic helm. What do u think about using manticore’s bite on ring slot so mdom helm can replace the current slot?
yes I did mix it up with the mtic helm. Just checking the mdom helm and that is also not great. We use the same bonus on the rugged armor, but that's cause there is not much better until you can get into mdwp and get that one. I would not use that head piece and just use a more reliable ring bonus instead
Did you even look at his channel before writing this? I’m guessing no. If you need someone who can read to point out to you the videos in his collection that can answer that question, don’t come to me.
I'm unable to do Neverwinter because I'm like testing out my baldur's gate 3 builds and I have a 4 hour game on Thursdays and the stress of it all

This guide asumes you have infinite diamonds, i suggest you get first the best free stuff and save up your diamonds only for the BiS stuff that requires it. Investing a million diamonds just to get stepping gear that you are going to discard a few days later is just a bad advice.
I don't see where you think it costs millions of diamonds... Only the BiS stuff is costly, the rest is either super cheap or you just play the game like I said and obtain it yourself!
if you are comfortable tanking you can skip the rugged mail and bregan arms. But that's not millions xD

@@Aragon- Between rugged, bregan and chulthan hunts + anything buyable, you can spend close to a million ad for useless stuff, i always recommend new players to avoid buying things that you are not going to use later on.

Your guides are very useful and appreciated, thank you ;D Healer's Gear Proggresssion next? (and DPS too) please
Dude this is needed for all classes for anyone great stuff
Thanks mate, think this will be usefull for a lot of Tanks :)

do you have one guide like this for healers?
Not yet

ooo i love this can u also do a dps and healer version?

I'd also like to throw in the detectors neck and darklake waist as replacements for tiamat set if on a budget
Detectors is trash for a tank
@cjtrouble not the set just the neck for the 6 con and the ilevel so not trash
Your better off with Valhalla if you are just doing scaled content

not too bad, and yes good to be able to get them for as long as the grace period lasts, but not as good as just the stormforged weapons
