World Oil Seed Rape Record yield broken

Lincolnshire grower Tim Lamyman has smashed the World Record OSR yield with variety Picto. A yield of 6.7tonnes/ha was harvested on the 5th of August up at Worlaby near Louth.
Bionature’s smart nutrition, Delta, 1-4-ALL, TipTop and Calflux have been an intrinsic part of Tim’s fertilizer program. “The crop was established well in the Autumn using Delta and 1-4-ALL has looked very well all year” commented Tim.

Beautiful film. The only world record yield which is not out of reach (yet) seems to be rape seed. I am from Serbia and in 2015 I had over 4.9 tonnes/ha but I harvested way too early and lost about a ton/ha. I would have been close to 6 tonnes/ha on that field (2.87 ha) and it was only the second time I drilled OSR, hence my big mistake with the harvesting date. The variety was DeKalb - ExStorm. Congratulations Tim, great job.
