- I have some videos left that I will still post, but I wanted to update you all. Thank you so much for everything. I hope to be back if my life sorts out in a way that permits it. This channel changed everything for me and I will always look back fondly on the last 3 years and all that has come with it.

I felt emotional watching this considering the amount of times I've wanted to go on hiatus too. Please take care of yourself and be super proud of all that you've accomplished. You're such a big part of the metal community and had a HUGE impact on the scene, I've always loved and respected your channel because of your integrity, your devotion to niche bands and your passion for music (and I think you might know that). The social media game is exhausting so take time to focus on yourself and enjoy the break from being online.
Tbh I also was patiently waiting for the upcoming 2nd podcast episode of us recapping this year lol. So again enjoy your hiatus and if you're ever ready to come back online and things settle, I'll be here if you ever wanna chat. Take care Rachelle and we'll always be here for you ❤

thank you so much for making me feel heard and understood. it’s not an easy world to be in, everything moves so fast. i felt like this year the hits kept coming and i just couldn’t keep up with the quickness of it all, and part of that is the pressure from others but a lot of it is the pressure we start to build on ourselves to always do more, do better, do different. I sincerely hope for the best things for you, continued growth and to find ways to avoid the burnout. If you need the break, take it. This will always be here, we will not. That being said, I’ve been reminded of how loving, kind and compassionate this space is, just as much as it is quick and demanding. I am going to get myself sorted out and then I will be back. I used to be relatively active in your discord server during a time in my life where I felt lost. It helped me connect with people for the first time that had similar music taste. It saddens me to hear you are going through some difficult stuff, but I have nothing but well wishes for you and I hope you are able to figure everything out and come back stronger than before. And if you don't, it's okay too. You're still a stronger person regardless. Life happens, and that's just how it goes.
