      Thanks Steve! Netting is one of my favorite parts. I don't want to jinx myself, but I've never knocked a fish off. I've dropped the net before and I've had them get out of the net, but I got them back. I expect that sooner or later I will lose one, but so far, so good...

      Hey Justin! I usually start at 30, it usually gets bit pretty quick, but I'll strip off more line while I'm trolling, 2 to 5 pulls or even more. I'll shorten up too. What I don't do is troll for Silvers for very long without changing something; speed, heading, depth, location, but I like to start at 25 to 30...

      @@kingslew1866 right on, im about the same 20-30 seems to be the sweet spot. Can I ask why you prefer the deep six diver over cannon balls? always willing to try new methods! I usually start trolling straight off the light house then move south to seal rock if the bite is slow. Do you recommend any other spots I should try in between? Thanks

    • @kingslew1866
      @kingslew1866  Месяц назад

      @@JustinChoi-c4xIt's really not a preference, it's just what I've been using. Maybe I don't like the idea of getting hit in the head with a chunk of lead while netting, but maybe I'll rig up some cannon balls and see if I like 'em.
      As for fish "spots" I think if you find the bait, you find the fish. So, I'm always watching for birds and jumping salmon.
      I've caught silvers and kings inside the reef while fishing for rockfish and while trolling. Water temp may be more of a factor, feed certainly is...
